I really hope that the players aren't relaxed about us avoiding the drop mate. I'm hoping we can get a point or two from our remaining fixtures, but lose all four and it could get dodgy. Realistically, the odds are in our favour but I'll be glad when we're safe.
That's the one. Charlie celebrated his goal by hobbling around the pitch as Hull had rejected him due to an alleged bad knee.
The spine of that team is just hideous. From memory we actually did quite well with ten, got the equaliser and were good value for a point until Green ****ed it a minute after he’d made a good save. As grim as things are in some ways now that seemed grimmer (nothing seemed grimmer than the weeks we were falling down the division this time last year).
Easy to do when the owners chucked money at it. I dread to think what the weekly wage bill was and, Barton apart, the ones bought could not give a toss.
Zarate & Doughty probably wouldn't even get into our present team, can't even remember Yun. And that kit is our worst ever. Still "the team couldn't have give anymore today..."
I quite liked Yun. Did reasonably well in the second promotion season but never a Prem player. Remember the name Zarate but couldn’t tell you anything he did.
Yun - 3 seasons, 33 games and 1 goal (according to Wiki). Still can't remember him. Zarate was on loan from W.Ham, only played 4 games but oddly I can remember him!
Don't think we can rely on Leicester to win their games now that they realise that the Prem. establishment is looking to punish everyone. Except of course the big 6 . They are clearly well and truly in their sights. It's in our hands so let's focus on what the team do. That includes not writing off our chances against Leeds and Coventry. All the teams at the top are feeling the pressure.
