Yes, that's true.
I think Chambers will be the Christe and Macca replacement all in one.
One year left on his deal so shouldn't be too expensive I would hope.
Am I mistaken or can he also play in midfield?

Not all of that information is available, sadly. I did find a few interesting bits:
This season Ryan Allsop is 9th out of all 46 Championship goalkeepers for save percentage, with 70.9%.
Ipswich, Leicester, Leeds, Southampton, and West Brom are the only teams to have faced fewer shots than us.
Their first choice keepers have the following save percentages:
Leicester – Hermansen – 74.5%
Leeds – Meslier – 72.4%
West Brom – Palmer – 71.6%
Ipswich – Hladký – 66.7%
Southampton – Bazunu – 63.8%
Matt Ingram's save percentage was 51.7% when he did play this season, which is why our squad percentage looks so low.
I just stole it off Twitter so I’m not sure what order it is currentlyWhat have you sorted it by?

Edit: looks like league position

Allsop with the 9th best save percentage in the league..
..but dig a bit deeper and it does look a touch worse:

Basically every time he faces a shot, adjusted for difficulty of the shot, Allsop is the worst at saving it out of all keepers who have played in the league. Although that list doesn't include Ingram so can't be completely exhaustive. Of note, Meslier is right down the bottom too, as is Palmer, so the stat isn't as clear cut as it may otherwise look. When I adjust the next column which is basically how many goals has he conceded below what he should have saved, he's second worst only ahead of Bazunu. Again, an interesting one given Southampton's relative success and persistence with Bazunu.
You’re right. Built on the narrative created by the opinion of a few Cardiff fans. Don’t think he’s the best shot stopper in the world, but he offers a lot more in other areas. Unfortunately since Delaps injury, he doesn’t have that option with his long ball over the top.If you showed a neutral the highlights of last night, or the Stoke game, or some of the other times Allsop has been blamed, they wouldn't even mention him. He's been unpopular from day one and it's snowballed from there, to the point that he's routinely being blamed for conceding goals from short range that you wouldn't normally expect a keeper to save.
The exact same thing happened with Marshall when he replaced the fan favourite Jakupovic, people didn't like it and he was a target from day one.
From Philo’s header which bounced and so was at a comfortable height? I was wondering how it bounced that bloody high when all my golf ball is doing currently is just plug.Would allsop have pulled off the worldie Boros keeper did?
It's a rhetorical question.

People around us were calling him immediately after that Boro goal.. from 120 yards away. I’ve watched it a few times and not sure what he could have done.
He made himself big at the near post, which is what goalies are supposed to do. He doesn’t have time to react, just make yourself big, ie don’t go down to early. The ball went between his legs, the one vulnerable spot if you make yourself big. I don’t see that as a mistake, I think people are confusing that with getting beaten on your near post when your positioning is wrong and it goes between yourself and the near post.. and as you say, looking for that story again.
Well if Opta say so.He’s the worst keeper in the league, it’s not an opinion, it’s a fact. Even Opta says he should have saved half the goals he’s conceded. He’s just absolutely woeful. Probably the worst player in the world.
Well if Opta say so.
I’m sure he’s not. Maybe not the best shot stopper in the world, but the role is more than that nowadays. I aren’t suggesting he should be No. 1 next season, because I think we do need someone better in that department. Some of the goals blamed on him are ridiculous.
Allsop is literally the worst keeper in the league. Someone would have to be really **** to be any worse.
I believe there is one keeper worse than Allsop according to some stats

He’s let in a stupidly soft goal 4 games on the bounce, then in the Leicester game before that he played that suicide pass which came straight back to him, made an atrocious effort to save the shot and was only spared further embarrassment by the post.
He’s absolutely ****e. Yes people are right to say that other keepers get away with things that people moan at Allsop about but that’s because he is consistently ****e. There is no narrative from Cardiff that fans have been brainwashed with, people have just seen with their own eyes that he’s ****ing ****e, lets in lots of soft goals and rarely makes any notable saves.
TLDR: he’s ****ing ****e.
