That is a very good question you have raised.I get that but didn’t Rosie say that he’d done that in the warm up? If that was the case it still doesn’t explain the chosen first eleven as he would have been available at that point.

I posted this last night, we had 4 defenders on the bench, 2 of which were left backs and both were crocked.Just reading Rosenior's post match comments.
For 90% of the game we were EXCELLENT.
Ohio..has been great for us.
Kinnel hell. BS.
So when the performance is not good enough managers should praise the players to the point of ridiculousness?Id say we were excellent for 80% of the game
And no manager is ever going to publically say
His player is ****e
Absolutely unbelievable how any professional keeper could allow that to go in from that angle. I’ve not been negative about Allsop up to now, although I’ve seen his previous errors, but that last night was absolutely unforgivable to give such an early advantage in what was a critical game. We’ve seen it before, I think it was when Darlow came into the side, how much confidence, and what a difference, it gives to the whole team, and the upturn in results, that a competent keeper makes. Not a good watch as far as goalkeeping is concerned.

It's a bit of a jump to suggest playing one of our other keepers would have guaranteed top 6.Absolutely unbelievable how any professional keeper could allow that to go in from that angle. Rosie has, I’m afraid, allowed misplaced loyalty to Allsop to get in the way of finishing top six, and that is pure naivety.
Deciding to not go and pay Darlow what had to be paid was a bad decision.Absolutely unbelievable how any professional keeper could allow that to go in from that angle. Leeds have a £25k a week player on the bench
Goalkeeper is such an important positionThe disparity between us and the competition when they can do that.
It makes such a huge difference to the overall confidence of the team, and that’s what will see us miss out on top six.Goalkeeper is such an important position

Allsop has been no worse than Ingram, and we've never seen Pandur in a competitive fixture FFS.
Allsop is literally the worst keeper in the league. Someone would have to be really **** to be any worse.
Not if he isn't fancied and doesn't play.
Stupidity.
I don't understand how it's stupidity at all. We can only play 11 and I'd rather have cheap backups than expensive backups.
Greaves and Jones miss so few games in a season that it's a tough job being the 3rd centre half but we need someone to do it and it's not like we can operate without one.
We thought in the summer that letting Figuereido go without a replacement was risky but it's really not been an issue at all this season. I think if/when Greaves goes, bringing in two decent CBs might be wise, but in that case I'd likely let McLoughlin go too if there's interest in him.
Alfie and Greaves have missed a combined 12 games over the last 2 seasons which is just insane. It's such an underrated asset as it allows us to run with 3 CBs instead of 4 and save a wage which is vital for FFP.
I think we'll be straight in for Chambers, ie somebody who can play a variety of positions.
And the majority of those misses haven't been for injuries if I'm not mistaken. Alfie missing for the birth of his daughter, Greaves a couple of suspensions.
I agree, Chambers seems the very obvious choice to come straight in.
