so lets count the swansea game as the first home game since acun took over the club

we've played 53 league home games in this time
we've won 19

that's 35% home games won in 2 years in the league

that is absolutely shocking, and i feel like it should be talked about more

whats the reason?

The reason for not talking about it or the reason for poor home form?

I don't want to mention it in the hope it will get better. Home form is crap. The wrong players have been recruited. We need a couple of right nasty bastards ( very professional players) in the team who will commit fouls on the half way line and who can pass a ball to a team mate. And they need letting off the leash to muller teams when we are on top. Oh and lastly we need a goal scorer.

We might already have the keeper sorted for the money that's been spent on him. Hopefully we'll find out that we do.

We definitely need two full backs, and probably two centre backs as well, especially if Greaves goes and Mac isn't rated.

I'd like a midfield playmaker a la Seri and someone that can break things up if needs be.

Delap would be an amazing signing but we need to get another striker too that can pick up 10-15 goals a season. As for the other attacking options we'll need to replace the loanees or leavers with like for like on position and ability.
Agree.
And quite a few 'fringe' players will be leaving too, so we will need to add players that can ensure quality in depth.
The needed 'churn' is surely a bit of an alarming prospect. A major rebuild .... again. Poor planning imo.

Don’t you think other clubs have churn?
I’ve made up some statistics to prove they do
And a lot worse than us
Think on

Whats the significance of Acun taking over and that particular time scale? Ultimately there's a whole host of reasons that have changed at different points in time.
We use the same measurement gauge for attendances, on pitch 'improvement' and other discussions so why not?
He sacked Grant McCann ans brought in two managers, its perfectly valid to look at that as a part of the reason isn't it?

there has to be some arbitrary timeline on when to start the count from
it could go back further or less

manager change or owner change is a good way to start the counting, its obviously not in anyway shape or form a dig at acun

i also felt including since acun took over, shows it was similar with two managers and not just rosie for example

but at other clubs, there'd be far more talk about bad home form

It's been going on since well before Acun took over. Let alone anything specific to Rosenior.

Thanks sherlock

No probs. So why ask 'since Acun took over'?

It was stated at the time we wouldn't have won L1 with fans in the stadium. It's been going on years.

Different owner, different players, different manager.

Wonder what the constant might be in that scenario?

Becasue as i alluded to
Have to start somewhere and the club changed massively
New chapter

And it was also said on the 1904 podcast

The club has had a ginormous transition since the start of 2022 when we got new owners

And the point of the thread is in two years why home fans have seen 19 wins out of 53+ games

Same reason we were better away from home beforehand at a guess.

Personally I think it boils down to weight of expectation and how quick the home fans are to turn or go quiet if we're not dominating or scoring goals.

Brilliant contribrution lad

The contribution that you appear to have missed is that there's only 1 constant, not players, not manager, not owner.

Same fans, same expectation, same attitudes when were up against it. Same ability to turn on the team or withdraw support if we're not winning.
