There's more than that for Allsop just in this thread <laugh> god knows how many pages you'd find if you searched the same for him.
A lot I should think, but as that wasn't the point I was making I'm not sure how it's relevant. The point is that there seems to have been some collective memory loss that Ingram wasn't that great a shot stopper either, and was undoubtedly much much worse at playing out from the back. We undoubtedly need a better keeper, I'm unconvinced that is Ingram.

Hopefully its Pandur, which given the fee you'd think it is.

Finally getting around to the replay and Allsop played a pass that split the midfield and found Carvalho with ease just minutes into the game.
Allsop does a lot of good long balls
It's a better tactic than ponderously building from the back and have to deal with a packed defence.

no ones disputed that
but he's a crap keeper

better to have a slightly worse passer and a better keeper in my book
Yeah I could understand if we were actually using his strengths but I don’t see him do anything that any other goalkeeper couldn’t do, if the only reason we have him is due to his ball playing abilities why do we never do it or gain from it. Just a complete waste.

No one?

i dont remember every single post someone has ever said

but he's not that good at passing, you act like hes prime kroos

And yet you were happy to claim no one had said something. I do remember that post as it was in response to me which prompted me to follow up on it when watching the replay. You didn't need to interject.

He is good at passing. I act like nothing, I pointed out an example of him passing the ball well. You're overreacting quite significantly.

I wonder if TLT will take the #2 berth next season or if we’ll look to sign a more experienced #2 or #1 and Pandur will be understudy.
I’m hearing Pandur isn’t all that bob
We’re looking at a young kid in the Peruvian league
Outstanding with his feet
Got 6 toes on either foot
Keeping him on loan out there for five years first tho
Now allsopps settled in he’ll be better next season
Can’t have too much churn

Allsop has the worst reactions and positioning of any goalkeeper I’ve seen play at City in my lifetime. I’m sure there’s been worse ones before my time but I haven’t seen one.

He looks like someone who prefers to play outfield but drew the short straw in PE and is forced to play in goal, rather than a professional keeper.
Lanky kid or fat kid in goal!!
Allsopp lanky
Howden fat

did they all have the same back line - did they all have the same number of shots to stop, what was the shot to save ratio, what is the proportion in the box compared to outside the box - where did we finish in the table - just because your bottom of the league doesn't mean your keeper is **** -- and so on

Not all of that information is available, sadly. I did find a few interesting bits:

This season Ryan Allsop is 9th out of all 46 Championship goalkeepers for save percentage, with 70.9%.

Ipswich, Leicester, Leeds, Southampton, and West Brom are the only teams to have faced fewer shots than us.

Their first choice keepers have the following save percentages:

Leicester – Hermansen – 74.5%
Leeds – Meslier – 72.4%
West Brom – Palmer – 71.6%
Ipswich – Hladký – 66.7%
Southampton – Bazunu – 63.8%

Matt Ingram's save percentage was 51.7% when he did play this season, which is why our squad percentage looks so low.

Are you trying to say he’s a good keeper? because you keep coming up with stuff
Thing posters judge with their eyes and he’s a poor keeper

He's made mistakes, sure. I'm just not sure he's the disaster many on here are saying he is when you look at him in context to other keepers. He seems pretty representative of the quality of goalkeeping in the Championship.

Look at Rotherham. There keeper is hot **** by all accounts.
