I don't know how Marti fixes the goal problem in this team. In most of our recent games we've had combinations of Willock, Chair and Smyth miss absolutely glorious chances to score, its maddening.

Missed the game, can't believe we screwed it up again after getting a late lead. Uncle Albert hadn't played in donkeys years, why was he brought on? So just a single point out of 2 six pointers, simply awful after such as encouraging Easter weekend. I guess it wouldn't be the R's if we made things easy on ourselves.

Terrible to see us lose that from a Begovic mistake. He really messed up. But to be fair our forwards had enough chances to put this game to bed much earlier - we are just shocking up front. You create that many chances you have to put some away. Chair is burning empty with Ramadan, which thankfully ends tomorrow - he worked his socks off tonight. I know Smyth lacks end product but he is a pain in the arse of the defenders and is a terrier.
I’ve had it with Dykes, his effort is more effortless.
Why Armstrong didn’t come on 25mins earlier I don’t know. He would have done well against these defendersz
Dropped two points for sure tonight.
Good: Jimmy Dunne giving his shirt to a young lad with an Irish flag :emoticon-0100-smile
Bad: a ‘fan’ cursing Begovic (and Begovic repeating F*ck you back - wasn’t pretty - Paal and Hayden tried to calm the fan down) :emoticon-0145-shake
At least I don’t have as long a drive home as BR :emoticon-0138-think

Feels like a loss but it's another point. We have four more cup finals all against top half teams. One win should do it but do we have it in us? Hull haven't been in great form but won on Saturday, we might just surprise them...

Where do you think?
It's obviously possible, but it's just as possible to only get another draw at most looking at our remaining games.

I expect us to get at least a point at Hull and at home to Preston. Hopefully Coventry will have nothing to play for in the final game.

The thing that helps is that teams below us play each other in the coming weeks.....

Saturday - Weds v Stoke
Following Saturday - Stoke v Plymouth, Rotherham v Brum, Blackburn v Weds
Penultimate Saturday - Hudds v Brum, Millwall v Plymouth

Plus Plymouth v Leicester this Friday

Still very tight, although statistically there's only been one season in the last 10 that a team has needed over 50 points (51 for forest in 2016/17)

Another 2 points pissed down the Kermit, ffs the chances we miss are actually criminal. We are so **** infront of goal, and we always have a kamikaze moment in us at the other end. El Cif again made **** subs and at tge wrong times imo, he seems to be losing the plot in these games as much as the players are ! Somehow , we have to survive and bring in a goalscorer, if that means flogging half the squad then so be it. There's not 1 player we have who is invaluable !

What do we want to happen here though?

Marti and his staff have access to all the fitness data, both before and during the game. That must influence some of his decisions.
However, I can't quite work out why he sent Albert on.
