I.e. they weren't allowed to do exactly what teams do against us every single week.

Yeah the issue wasn’t what he did but the fact he was offside

FWIW I think it was the correct decision.

I haven't seen it, but I heard it was like the Antonio one that Vicario saved.
The bloke fouling the keeper wasn't penalised for the foul, but he was offside.

But it only counted as offside because he was obstructing the keeper and therefore unfairly interfering with play to give the attacking team an advantage.

QED it is obstruction.
QED it's a foul anywhere else on the pitch.
QED it isn't a problem when it happens to Spurs.
