I can remember a few seasons ago when we should have finished runners up we went to a relegated team for a final league game and lost 5-1......and gave Arsenal second place. I think we're still 3rd in the rankings, below Italy and Germany. Top two get the extra space. We're something like 0.15 points behind Germany and have more teams still in European competition. No idea how these things are calculated and tbh looking at how VAR decisions are arrived at, I doubt the people at UEFA have any idea either.
Ollie Watkins has criticised Villa for "lacking a big team mentality" after their draw against Brentford. Sounds like a move to Spurs would be right up his street. It'll be a familiar environment from the off.
That table shows the 'rolling' coefficient for the past 5 years. Iirc, the extra CL place is being awarded to the top two coefficients of 23/24's tally only. No idea why. The reason probably involved an unmarked suitcase of rare watches changing hands somewhere in Switzerland.

I haven't seen it, but I heard it was like the Antonio one that Vicario saved. The bloke fouling the keeper wasn't penalised for the foul, but he was offside.
