Seen this yesterday and thought it was a fantastic powerful and thought provoking video.

Nothing to do with this thread, other than the title ...

... but I just noticed this and thought it might fit on here, that's all really.

I’m a 70-year-old guy who, for a long time, has been single and living alone. I took early retirement and volunteered full-time for a charity for several years before walking out in disgust in 2019. I’ve never had that many close friends and in the past five years I have been bizarrely abandoned/rejected by just about all the “friends” I thought I had, including school friends, plus my only brother.

Guy needs to go to church, he would be welcomed with open arms at mine. God bless him.

thought this was worth a share and shows how even top level players are fallible and maybe an indicator of the challenges young players moving countries may face

Sadly some people believe money should absolve players of fallibility ...

... and gives them the right to abuse them.

It's sad seeing young kids like Hemir written off as shyte tbh.

Thing is people who have got an actual contact to play football professionally have something about them. How far they get up the ladder is up to them. I remember listening to Kevin Ball saying that he recognized that he wasn't the most talented player compared to those he played with at either Portsmouth or Sunderland but he worked as hard as he good to be the best player he could be
