If your a club looking at jp, the fact he’s just downed tools so quickly (if he has) has to be a concern doesn’t it?

It’s a knee jerk reaction. Promotion this season was always unlikely.

It's not knee jerk, it's been the same issues since he took over and he's shown no sign of solving them unfortunately. Yes promotion this season was, but the position we found ourselves in made it a fantastic opportunity that was ours for the taking, that we have ( likely) let slip due to our inability to create chances and score goals..... Listening to his interview on Humberside tonight it's just carbon copy of the things we've heard time and time again and he's just not sorting it out...that's his job, if he can't do it then we need someone that can.

Rosenior needs to be replaced for the simple reason he can’t change his style of football anymore than Bruce,Slutsky or Shota could. A manager can’t wake up one morning & say “ my whole philosophy/way of playing is wrong ,I better adopt a new one immediately” We have to get a new manager who plays a completly different/ more attacking style of football & has been doing so for years

Saying that,who would it be?
I'm in the process of launching a new coaching product and have been lucky enough to find out a lot about John Mousinho who is very impressive however the Championship is a hell of a competition so I would not like the job of selecting a gaffa in this league to be honest. Keiran McKenna is showing you can unearth diamonds in league 1 but you really can't be sure what will happen.

They bought him in the PL so a lot I imagine. You're right though, he did what we don't, and you'd think the likes of Philogene were capable of similar.

The reason I wondered is he had been sent out on loan to two clubs, neither of which he had scored many goals at and then turned down a new contract at Feyenoord. They may have got him for a reasonable price. Whatever, who dug him out did a good job.

There were a lot of issues when he took over and he's generally improved most of them.

Maybe not as quickly as you think he should, but we score more, we have more points, we have an upward trajectory.

Allsop had an okay game. Won’t blame him for the goals and going up for a corner late on is just a common football trope to add another player in the box. Tbh, I don’t think they go up with the intention of scoring from a corner but to occupy a zone so the other team have to mark them, freeing up an actual outfield player to potentially score.

Still think his shot-stopping in general this season has been dross and cost us valuable points. Cardiff fans warned us about his shot-stopping and have been proven right.

Their second goal was straight down his throat and he ****ing dived out the way of it.

allsop is **** and hopefully pandur starts to get him use to the league
i will enjoy watching this team more
when allsop is gone
never liked him

Depends if you've just tapped him up I suppose.
I don’t think he’s pl ready, he’s been poor lately but even when he was flying his final bal/decision making let him down. He needs to improve that before seeking that big move.
If he just needed this short time to become pl grade, Villa would have kept him

We aren't going to get promoted with Allsopp he makes too man gaffs. We paid 1.4 million for a goalkeeper, play him.

Utter ****e form you as per. Funny how you seem to think City fans have to have a boogy man to be angry at but your lack of self-awareness to realise your boogy man who you constantly denigrate is Tufan.

Tufan is a box-to-box midfielder who has been shoehorned up front as a false #9, played as a #10, a right-winger and pretty much every other position more than his preferred position without complaint. What he did well tonight was provide an outlet, use his physicality in a team of weakling midgets to hold up the ball and win battles with a physical Leeds team, play nice passes and link up with the deeper midfielders to set up attacks and press relentlessly. That was all evident when we went off and Leeds had more of the ball and more space to attack us.

I know I'll never convince people on this.

I'm not saying he was awful. But he was part of an attack that did very little, and that is the case more often than not with him. He was part of our front four, and like Philogene who is getting pelters, he didn't create anything or offer anything incisive. Unlike Philogene, that is a typical performance from him. Carvalho seems to get a lot of criticism including some tonight but he's been by far our best attacker since he came here, scoring five goals. Tufan consistently gets more praise but achieves nowhere near as much.

Ryan Longman used to run and provide an outlet, and he used to get stick for not being more explosive or skillful. It was a thankless task for him. Slater runs and runs and that gets used against him as well. Tufan for months now has been praised week after week for running a lot but achieving nothing. And he's supposedly one of our highest earners. He's a fringe player who comes in and out of the side because that's how good he is, but when he's left out people are always saying his absence is the reason we've not won. There never seems to be any expectation that he'll actually contribute in attack, he can just keep doing a bit of pressing and the odd shoulder barge and he's the star man. If we want to be that generous to our players then great, I'm all for being overly supportive, but other players don't get anywhere near the same leeway.

carvahlo will play in the champs league
tufan is a guy who cant get in the turkish national team for a reason
tufan just has very good technical ability so he can score a nice goal or so
but at championship level he is utter gash becasue he moves like a cruise liner

Why? Squad depth is an issue. You can’t wait to jump on the back of Rosenior.

We had exactly two players out, one injured and one suspended. A lot of other teams have far more players unavailable. It was also Rosenior who said he wanted a smaller squad in the summer and trim the deadwood. Stop talking absolute ****e. We didn’t lose tonight because of a lack of squad depth and even if we did, that would still be Rosenior’s fault.

Most clubs would have swapped our transfer window for theirs. It’s not a sense of entitlement.
He doesn’t know how to get the best out of the talent he has at his disposal.
The style of play is mostly boring. It almost seems like blind luck whenever we do score.
Allsop is good with his feet but he’s a **** stop shopper. If the new lad doesn’t start the next game then that’s another question over the Managers decision making

He's absolutely nowhere near ready to be playing in the prem, but if you can sign for a prem team on prem wages you're going to do it. Even if that means coming back to the champ on loan for another season or 2..... Financially you're in a miles better position
