Did you think the Kalvin Philips kick on Anthony Gordon was a pen, Ninesy? A West Ham mate of mine went up for the game with his son and messaged me to ask me what I thought. I told him that it was unlucky, but definitely a pen. He wasn't having it.

Can anyone explain the thinking behind this not raising the flag for offside until the passage of play has finished? Even if you don’t agree with it I’d like to understand it. Just happened in the second minute of the City v Gooners game, Haaland obviously offside runs the length of the half before being tackled in the Gooners area. Flag goes up, as predicted by commentators. If anybody had been injured during this ‘dead’ bit of play I’m guessing lots of people would have had a good moan about it. It’s bizarre.
That’s the obvious flaw. I think overall it’s not a bad thing if someone who turns out to be onside smashes one in. Keeps the game flowing a bit more if nothing comes of it too I guess.
Both teams have defended really well all over the pitch, but it is definitely a "don't lose" game. Worst I've seen Odegaard play. Anthony Taylor giving everything to City as usual.
Plymouth sack their manager this morning with six games left of the season. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t I guess.
