In a strange sort of way maybe the team has learned a lot from the 6 defeats as opposed to a few wins and draws.
Each player will have been aware of mistakes and decisions which should not have been made and perhaps it’s better that they’ve happened when it doesn’t really matter in terms of promotion and relegation, neither of which we were likely to get this season.

Of course, this may all be ****e but I’m sure I’ve read that you learn more when things aren’t going well.

A number of our fans bemoan the apparent lack of experience in the side, but such experience is growing into these players match by match. They've had a difficult time, 3 coaches all telling them different things, and a poor run of results. I'm sure they will have learned bucket loads this season and will be better players for it.
A good end of season will set us up nicely for next year.

Well what a lovely Saturday morning sun is out 3 points in the bag and dried out and a good night's sleep. It really was a cracking performance and yes Cardiff were poor but I think we made them look poor with such a polished performance. The score could really of been 4 or 5 such was our dominance. It was great at the end of the game to see the players pushing Adil forward to take the applause of the fans something he really deserved. Will hopefully do his confidence the world of good. Midfield was totally dominant love watching Dan Neil make space for himself so easily. Absolutely quality if the lad could add more goals to his game he will be awesome. Shout out to Ekwah who did a lot of the dirty work yesterday and goes unseen at times. Ballard, Onien, and Hume solid and dependable. I wish Hemir had scored his chance to give him a big boost also same for Ba. Overall a quality display cracking pressing all over the park and some lovely free flowing football played on the ground. Final word to our fans most of who got soaked before and after the game in biblical rain storms. Watching people drying shirts and trousers in the toilets on hand dryers was hilarious. Backed the lads from the off and all had a cracking day out. Such a change from recent weeks. Looking forward to Monday to see if we can replicate that type of performance.

Good win and we didn’t have to risk Alese/roberts! Hopefully be a good end to the season, would like to see some of the young lads that have featured on the bench recently maybe get some minutes and see if they can be more involved next season. Might save us signing a few if we focus on the academy lads

a touch of class to everything he does.

He reminds me of Porterfield, not speedy but always manages to make space and time

Dan Neil - best bits

I could watch him all day long. He is a rolls royce of a footballer. I love the way he receives the ball, on the half turn all the time. The very best centre mids do that and it is why they can play in there. His weight of passing is unreal as well, I cant think of anybody else in this division that can match him. Then his speed of though and vision. He is so calm under pressure and always will receive to take pressure away from teammates. The impressive thing is he is still improving as well and his attitude seems 100%. Hope he ia still here next season, but the big boys are circling.
