Yeh I think "sorted" meant the couple of million being bombed like fish in a barrel.
Contrary to propaganda Israel is fighting about as just a war as possible when it comes to the ratio of civilians to Hamas dying. Especially so when Hamas’ tactics are factored in and this will continue with the eventual evacuation of Rafah. If the strategy was to shoot the fish in the barrel this would’ve been over by about October 11th.

I don't consider the indiscriminate killing of 20,000+ women and children as just. Nor the fact that roughly 10 children a day are having limb amputations. Nor the thousands more that are dead and buried under the rubble. You have no idea the ratio either.
And of course the blatant blockade of humanitarian aid to the millions starving to death.
There's nothing just about this war as the aims being spouted aren't achievable nor match the destruction being caused.
However if the objective is to kill, starve and maim enough women and children so that not only this generation is culled but that obviously further generations are also curtailed by means of population control, then yeh sure your heroes Netanyahu, Gvir, Smotrich are well on track.
As for the fish in the barrel comment, it's already happening, only Rafah left. All we're seeing is how they can manage it without losing the U.S. completely.

But when they protest... they're extremists.
When they call for boycotts... they're seriously ill.
When they write to their MPs or put pressure on the American administration... they're wasting their time.
When they donate to humanitarian causes to support the innocent ppl in Palestinian territories, as many millions have done for years, and many will do as part of their obligations during Ramadan... they're supporting Hamas.
All the best possible democratic means anyone can try and do something. But yeh nobody cares

It’s a population with a median age of 18 so inevitably a big chunk of civilian deaths will be women and children. All this utter nonsense about culling a population that’s grown massively and a land grab in a place Israel forcibly moved its own out of two decades ago like they aren’t getting attacked daily on two fronts.
The numbers, by any serious estimate, don’t stack up to Netanyahu being some sort of genocidal lunatic. Not a great bloke by any means and not particularly popular even before this war but really what choice has he got with what Israel is up against?

Simply calling it nonsense doesn't make it so. The majority being killed are women and children. To serve what purpose mate? Destroy Hamas, free the hostages? Yeh that makes sense. And that's without the thousands being killed and detained in the West Bank who have fck all to do with what's happening in Gaza.
There were roughly 16 million Jews worldwide in the 1930's. There are roughly still 16 million jews worldwide today. When the nazis killed 6 million they didn't just annihilate that generation, they prevented the existence of all those future generations that were never conceived and never born and their children, and their children and their children. The long term objective of Netanyahu and the fascist cronies who control the Israeli government is, and always has been, no different for Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. They don't even hide it. They'll just do it with American tanks and bombs instead of the gas chambers.
The population in Gaza has grown massively since when? When the refugees arrived after they were displaced 80 years ago?
Netanyahu is driven by ideology and self-preservation. It would be a personal disaster for him to stop the war. His choice is to call a ceasefire, exchange hostages and prisoners, engage in a negotiated two state solution. He won't and you know why.

It also neatly swerves the issue of illegal expansion and settlements ... the reality is that, absent some other Arab countries and possibly some non-arabic islamist States, Israel would have the support (and empathy) of the rest of the world, not just the US, if they adhered to the boundaries set in the Oslo accord and were not flagrantly disregarding International Law with apparent impunity ... just my opinion, of course ...
Self-preservation I could get on board with but not ideology. Why now? Israel absorbs small terror attacks constantly and they’ve just taken the piss and gone too far this time hence the response. Rolling over and accepting it was never going to happen.

They could have a state with aid constantly flowing in and the streets paved with gold and they wouldn’t stop attacking. No other country would absorb what Israel is expected to and swathes of the West still simp for the poor, oppressed Palestinians.
Or they could have a country where they had sovereign rights, access to a ports, fishing waters, agricultural lands, control of their own borders, no blockade, curfews or settlers stealing their land and they wouldn't probably wouldn't need any aid or need to attack their oppressors like.
