Nope, not happening ignore your lived experience, Schad will find some study that tells you you’re wrong. FWIW the one of the biggest problems in England right now is the volume of people in such a small space and with such underfunded public services

Possible that the two countries draw different populations from within those countries, I don't know. I mean, you don't come to Canada without knowing that it will be cloyingly multicultural.
Schad, people come here for the money. It is a fact. I met a Pole once who told me: "nobody wants to come to England for the culture. Everyone hates English culture. But you have money. I will work here to make money and miss Poland." I just looked it up and you have very similar amounts of Indians and a much smaller proportion of Pakistanis. I think that might be your difference maker.
I met a Pole once who escaped the right wing ideologists destroying his country who was enjoying the diversity in the UK and the opportunities. Then along came brexshit.
That might be a good point, but I've not seen any stats giving a breakdown of say education levels of immigrants to this country. I do know that there are communities where young women get virtually no educational choices and that we have 2nd generation immigrants who cannot speak English. That's isn't through lack of opportunities or discrimination because of 'otherness' though, it's enforced by their own native culture and just continues here. I don't have the answers though, just a few ideas and opinions and I view the world through my own lens so it's skewed toward my biases and prejudices. I know we have a problem here in the UK though, and I don't really know how we fix it. I've always found though that people are more accepting of change when times are prosperous, and they see a hopeful future. There's not many in the UK feeling that atm, from any groups of people
"Polish immigrants now make up 10 per cent of the population of Southampton." https://southamptonoldlady.wordpress.com/2016/06/27/southampton-polish-capital-of-britain/
Terrorist attack in Russia. Seems like there'll be lots of casualties. Terribly sad. ****ing scumbags.
In much the same way the Palestinian extremists felt they had no choice, I guess the Ukrainians felt the same. ****ing grim times worldwide at the moment.
Can you explain what is wrong with the ECHR and why a British Bill of Human Rights would be better? I am at a loss on this one. As for the rest, it is purely pie in the sky!!!
