I really hope he doesn't start this game, he could easily lose his head again. Much rather we go with Field and Hayden
If all are fit then Colback shouldn’t be starting over either of the others. Bloke has ability but he’s a liability. With their form and injuries this is a great chance and he’s a risk we don’t need to take.
Ellers and I will be collecting loose change for Reading outside the away end. Do come and say hello.
Colback should never start ahead of Field or Hayden, if fit. Cifuentes tinkers too much, imho. Play your best eleven.
Sunderland defenders out for this game are Jenson Seelt, Dan Ballard, Luke O'Nien, Aji Alese, Dennis Cirkin, Niall Huggins. Chuck in six defeats in a row and you'd expect us to get something from this game. Surely the QPR curse of playing poorly playing teams back into form won't continue?
it’s got bigger bloody biceps than my thighs, I’m a broken man that’s gonna eat all my ice cream and there’s nothing I can do about it
Our defence is worse than Fred West's and OJ's put together ... ... our top scorer and best three players are out. If you can't win this game you deserve to go down to L1 tbh.
You'll all be devastated to hear Taylor Richards is unavailable for this match recovering from calf injury, it'll be a cow by time he's back...
Definitely a game for Chair and Willock to play to their strengths. Frey over Dykes. Armstrong to come on at 62mins. Need a West Brom performance with a Leicester result.
You had to say it didn't you ! Cue Jack Clarke to play like Maradona and not like Madonna when we had him on loan. Take him out and possibly Bellingham and their side is awful
Think so. He's been out a while too. That said, all too often before games we read opposition have so many injuries we must win, only for many of them to play, and well.
Nary a mention of this injury until now, very suspicious. Still we are not in the position to play someone who could be a liability, we need everyone properly switched on.
We had good possession in the first half against Boro but fannyed around with no end result. I’d stick Smyth on to run at them.
I like Smyth but he’s undeniably been more effective off the bench and Willock is back to perhaps 70% of what he was which is better than Smyth will ever be. He seems to like the Chair/Andersen/Willock trio which lacks a bit defensively but they play well off each other and it’s quite fun.
