Be gutted if KLD went. Always risky what ya get with new owners and I think he is decent. Made a few mistakes under his ownership but still best we have been ran in decades imo!

yeh. Better the devil you know and all that. And he’s not even a devil.

I think aswell, unless the new owner is announced fairly soon, that with all the FA/EFL checks to go through with new owners that it will just disrupt the summer.

A lot has improved and we were looking a very professional well ran club.

Things have went tits up recently and you can't blame it all on KS because if KLD didn't agree with how he was trying to do things he would have went ages ago.

Still would like to see him try and sort it ather than sell!

me too.

I still really like KLD. Fully behind him. Speakman can go tho. Too many bad decisions.
This ^^^

I've avoided contributing to anything concerning KS, because I believed he was doing a good job up until recently.

However, too many things have gone wrong on his watch, which seems to have started with his bizarre decision to sack Tony Mobray out of the blue. Then came the poor transfer window and the Beale hiring/firing.

It's all turned into a **** show and he is the common denominator in everything that has gone wrong, so KLD has a big decision to make regarding the Sporting Director position.

It looks like the summer is going to be a bit of a soap opera, so don't forget your popcorn folks!

No. The fact is , he should be influencing the head coach to give certain players more game time.

I know you accept zero negatives mate but everything that was said to you in December / January is playing out exactly.
I'm aware of plenty of negatives. What I don't accept is misrepresenting things. There's no fixed parameters for a Sporting Director's role but if part of the plan is to maximise the value of certain players, then its more than reasonable for him to have conversations with the coach as to how to do that. If the Head Coach has the final say on team selection, as has been stated, it shouldn't be a problem.

Completely disagree. It causes friction and crosses boundaries. The fact that Neil and Mowbray, 2 very experienced people in the game, felt so, shows it's the case.

Now we have Dodds.......

Think that's game set and match TBF

Is this accurate:

They pick the teams 3 games in advance
Speakman, Dodds, Proctor, Murty, Methven are all involved in those decisions.
Beale coming in will have had little say in his first 3 'selections'
If other 'rumours' are to be believed - Bellingham has gametime in his contract, Burstow possibly has gametime in the loan deal as well?

So, are we recruiting a Head Coach to come in and pick 9 (ish) out of the starting 11 with others already decided?

Or can Doddsy pick 20 players whoever he wants in the matchday squad?

<cheers>

I don’t believe Jobe has anything contracted. Can’t imagine lawyers signing off on that. But can definitely believe there’s a “gentleman’s agreement”

Burstow we might have to pay Chelsea more for when he doesn’t play for us. I know that’s fairly common place in loans, to incentive clubs to play the loan players.

Then they should have sent the ****er back. Even if that cost money get it done and move on. No point playing loan players who aren't good enough in the hope something clicks, might aswell be your own players getting minutes!

It can't cross boundaries if it's an agreed part of how things are run.

And what the **** does this mean-
"Think that's game set and match TBF" ?

might not be able to. Might have been no option for us. Was a stupid deal if so
