am i the only one feeling nervous about the weekend? everton away, our jinx ground, if ever there was a time to end it, its now, 3 points, keep us up with a shout of europe, but just as important, keeps our little black and white neighbours below us. im going to bangkok at the weekend, and while watching the game will be keeping a close eye on another tele, praying that my weekend is not spoiled, so come on lads end this damn hoodoo and end it now am i alone thinking this way, trying to convince myself, but everton away aarrgghhhhhhh
I'm not nervous, as i strongly fancy us, but i can appreciate where you stand on this, this game has become MASSIVE for the season. I'd say if we go down there and attack, attack, attack, they won't be able to live with us. If Cahill's missing, then that leaves Fellaini (who i think is superb) vs Muntari as a big battle for the midfield, win that, win the game. Sessegnon and Richardson will cause them problems, and if Jordan plays on the right i'm backing him to chuck in a big performance, Hoodoo's are there to be broken mate, 3-1 the lads.
I can undersand your nerves, you never know what you could wake up next to on a trip to bangkok for a weekend away, worse than Blackpool I heard.
now syd its a business trip, honest, well thats what ive told the missus, she doesn't seem to understand how a business trip can take 5 days. women honestly. still be keeping an eye on the mags game and watching out for anything with knockers and an adams apple flippin everton
I'm like that on a weekend in Blackpool, mind after a few jars I dont look to closly for the adams apple
I'm sure that we're all apprehensive but we won at the bridge so we must be in with a great shout for all 3 points
My favourite ever away game was Sunderlands 3-1 win under Reid, 2 for Bridges, a week afetr Everton had spanked Southampton 7-1 at Goodison. It was 1997 like, i think.
I'm not saying that we have had a good sucess rate at Goodison but we are a different team now as are Everton. In the past it has been them in the upper half of the premier not us. I made that post after reading alot of your post which in the whole IMO are negative. But maybe that's me I'm always a glass half full instead of half empty kinda guy.
Nervous ? Hell I'm nervous EVERY week ! After 45 years of supporting SAFC even when things are going well you think "things are just too good - something's going to go wrong any time !"
Jinx ground what about super mickey bridges brace for a roraing 3-1 triumph? Only away victory I saw that season like but still great game.
That's the game i'm referring to mate, great day, we were expecting to get pummelled! Pulled on the train back as well, what a day!
