In my view any 3rd tier season that doesn't end in a finish between 1st and 6th place is a waste of the Club's time and money.

I'd be worried if it was a 3-year deal instead of a 7-week deal. I'd rather see Casey or Mbick given a go, but maybe they're not ready. Having Wickham enables NJ to keep our main strikers fresh.
Don’t have an issue with such a short term contract. There’s not much to lose and if he chips in with a goal or two (assists or scores) and that gains us a point or two then all well and good.
Miles is out. Chuks is probably out. Ladapo isn’t a hold-up player (by his own admission). Kanu has done well but shouldn’t be leading the line at his age and again isn’t a hold-up striker and May has gone off the boil and definitely isn’t a hold-up player.
