well we go to Portman Road to face the surprise side of the championship this season who have done exceptionally well whatever their final position is.
I always have had a soft spot for this club going back to my school days when the great Ipswich side under Bobby Robson was a fantastic side. With Paul Mariner-George Burley-Mick Mills-the two Dutch maestros-John Wark a truly class side.
They have a really strong chance of going up this season with a certain Mark Ashton leading them there.
For me this is another nail in the coffin of Liam Manning and I see another loss on the cards drawing us closer to those relagation spots. They will be to strong for us and I am going 3-1 Ipswich and us being drawn into a relegation fight.

I can remember when they won the League title when Sir Alf Ramsey was their manager and it was his success at Ipswich that led him to manage England for the World Cup win in 1966. There are so many similarities between the 2 clubs and so it has always given me a soft spot for them and their ambitions. Ambitions aside I feel we could be on a hiding at Portman Road based on our recent less than stellar outings and the lack of effort visible from the moon, but we are just as likely to look like Barcelona and win comfortably. When our previous manager was at the helm I can't remember us being so fluid in 2 great wins and then follow them up with 2 performances to absolutely forget. During that purple patch with the FA Cup games against West Ham and Forest where we were top class followed by 2 fabulous wins against Middlesbrough and Southampton I though the Manning era that he promised us had finally reached fruition. How fleeting that dream was because now we have retrograded back to the bad old days, under several managers I may add, and there doesn't seem to be any of that fluidity we saw only recently. What are the reasons for that radical erosion of what looked possible with the way we played during that brief time because here we are again back in the mire that seems to be part of Bristol City's DNA?

Interesting that even if we had won our last three apparently winnable games we would still be three points of the playoffs.

We are not unique in our continued inconsistency
From about 7th - 18th in the table every team in this league is inconsistent which is why they’re not in the top 6
But I can see a possible spanking coming here as Ipswich are everything we are not
Direct, free scoring, skilful and they work as a team

Bristol City predicted team vs Ipswich Town: Cam Pring and Tommy Conway in line for returns
Bristol City will need to respond after three straight defeats has left them nervously looking towards the wrong end of the table

Bristol City (4-2-3-1): Max O’Leary; Ross McCrorie, Zak Vyner, Rob Dickie, Cam Pring; Joe Williams, Taylor Gardner-Hickman; Mark Sykes, Jason Knight, Anis Mehmeti; Tommy Conway

A win or draw here would be incredibile on the back of the last three displays. Nobody would be more happy than me but on current form more chance of pigs flying.

I can’t see us getting anything from this game.
In the tiniest of straw-clutching I thought the same about the Boro and Saints games…..
Please LM, no more Chuckle Brother to you to me football! For god sake tell our striker to hit their penalty box and get the ball in there at every opportunity! If we try to defend playing keep ball we will give Ipswich the opportunities. Will watch with fingers crossed!

I have just noticed the game is not on Robins TV which means it is on possibly Sky over there and that ticks me off because I wasn't able to see all 3 of the latest matches. Does any one have a potential feed for the game??? Please.

Thanks RR but over here in Canada we don't get SKY without a subscription to an English streaming service but most don't carry it. When it is on Sky UK it is automatically on DAZN in Canada and I won't use them as they screwed me once and they usually only carry about 2 City matches all season and I won't pay for an annual fee just for that. Thanks again.

They always share links on the match day thread on OTIB, that’s where I got sports 10 from earlier this season.
