    it'll be fine.

the kemlyn Road stand is **** so should be demolished entirely.

the only way to do it is to go by tier so buy all the houses and build a new top tier the full length then take the roof and probably then close the second teir and take it down so the top tier becomes that. then build new second tier and reprogiel the lower tier.

you need to be 5 foot 2 or so to enjoy the lower skd

there's lots of options if someone wants to buy 3 rows of houses and turf everyone out long term... which they are petrified of

fans now being warned not to stand in the anfield road Upper tier.

anyone who stands up there is a ****ing lunatic. it's that steep you'd cause an avalanche and the upper ten rows might not even see the kop end goal.

Well the back row would struggle imo for reals.

tickets are now on sale for the middle section of the anfield road end but with very basic services.

work is frantically underway to complete what can be completed to get the stand open in time.

60k will break our league attendance record this week.

the international break will see the complete mess in the inside being cleared up in the corner with thr main. thr slabs have arrived.

what is funny is they did a nice job on the main stand and now they look to have an alright job on the anfield Road end but all the surrounds on the Sir Kenny stand is absolute ****e. it really does look a half a stadium done and nothing links together in the surrounding zones.

    As a matter of interest.

very nearly done and we are told maybe will be done in the International break that's coming.

the corner inside and the outer cladding plus some of the final touches to road will be done then.

Theres a very long snag list to do and the internal side cladding just won't get done until summer.

But its open and just starting to have an impact on games.

    Some finance stuff out.

    Pretax loss of 9m

Previous 12 months was 7.5m profit

Tv money dropped a bit as only got to last 16 of CL compared to previous year.

matchday income also dropped due to playing less games than previous year where we played every single game possible.

Wage bill went up 7% which makes sense with inflation and new contracts. - 373m

admin expenses went up 70% from 320m to 562m and utility bills doubles.

Revenue 594m so wages to revenue is around 62% so not too bad. Think it’s under 70% for new rules isn’t it?

new stand delays caused big issues so those numbers should go up a bit next year then a lot more the following years accounts

That was expected. 9mil isn't too bad given the piss poor 5th and last 16 of cl only HOWEVER it hints towards a bad time after this year as the pretax loss without CL plus all the transfers will be high. The consolation is we bought two CMS early in the window so the majority of last years spend shoudl be baked into the season starting with 9mil loss.

Those numbers are sadly likely to be fall at best on matchday revenue as we lost capacity for half the games and only gained it back recently.

Revune form tv will drop like a stone so we need to see the effect of this in a years time.

Over the longer term its going to boost us no question.

The £9m loss in revenue will probably be taken as a win because the club overall value probably went up more than £9mill from inflation alone. So £9mill less in the coffers but the club is worth, I dunno, numbers-from-arse time an extra £50mil... would mean owners are £41mill richer.

Given last year was 7.5m profit this year 9m loss we can afford in theory up to 102m loss this season and still fall within ffp guidelines so shouldn’t be an issue.

Assuming we get back into CL this year which looks likely, plus a decent prem finish then prize and t money should bump up again in 2 years time accounts to average out this years one that gets released next season.

It’s more an impact on ffp rather than club value tbh. That 9m feeds into the 3 year cycle but assuming we don’t have a huge 100m loss this season (next years accounts) then should be all good.

Also our wage bill should go down a bit with klopp and the assistants leaving as they’re some of the best paid coaches in the world and new one won’t be on more - although we may have to pay out compensation to hire the new manager.

The positives are increasing commercial revenues alongside a strong investment into the club during the year that won't show up on that debt number yet.

the negatives are transient drops in match day revenues that we will slowly see pick up over the next seasons and a drop in Tv revenue that will hurt next season.

We have had half the Anny Rd closed for half the season too, so that must have had some impact as well.

    edit, oh, last season.

4.5mil a game mate. absolutely massive.

however going far in all comps to have home games now and having the 6k extra means it should be sort of a wash.

you'd want to be higher that 80mil. up to 90 maybe.

but we need to win the europa to even get close to offsetting no cl.

So James Ratcliffe wants a Stadium of the North, in other words a redeveloped Old Trafford. Furthermore, a task forcé is being set up which suggests public money.will be involved should the project be given the green light. If this is the case, then public money should be available for all stadia renovations and rebuilds the length and breadth of the country.

yes it's fairly clear he wants a sizable free lump sum.

the inequality of what has gone in the England has been amazing.

commonwealth games stadium handed to man city for nothing really.

Olympic stadium.handed to west ham for nothing

spurs spending 1 billion to get the same

it is grossly unfair to the teams who've worked and scraped to get what they have to see any team be handed a free advantage.

the only way public money should be involved when kids can't get a decent diet is if man utd sign the deeds over to make a municipal stadium for all sports
