Seems to be working with what we’ve got. Just nice to see us have alternatives that can see us through on occasions. definitely makes a difference when Willock is on form and contributing. Hopefully he’s seeing this as his opportunity to at least impress through to the end of the season. But significantly a number of others stepping up now. Just need to keep it, and our heads, up through to the end - come what may.
Not even seen the highlights yet but had my son nudging me during the wedding ceremony when Rotherham went 1 up. I nearly shouted FFS right in the middle of the vows!.
I nominate Begovic. Hopeless at playing out from the back, slow with his distribution, fear-inducing at corners and feet rarely positioned correctly for a shot. Didn't "stand tall" for Rotherham's goal yesterday. An inspirational captain. Would make a great goal-keeping coach for a facility somewhere in West London. Hopefully, he'll start full-time there soon. But I thought the past criticism of Willock was always over the top. MOTM against Rotherham for me. Special mention to Jimmy Dunne: he'll never be a proper full back but, my God, he never stops trying and was very effective yesterday.
I disagree about the winner. Willock really thumped it: if the goalie had got an arm to it, it would have probably dislocated his shoulder!
I’d have been well pissed off if Begovic had let that one in. Willock caught it beautifully but a good Champ goalkeeper has to be stopping it. He’d be a great option for us next season if we stay up. Highly rated but will probably go somewhere bigger. Ex-Hammarby but not from Cifuentes’ time.
More likely they’ll give one of the youths a chance. Both Walsh and Salomon are meant to be quite good.
Thought it was noteworthy that after the game, Cifuentes went up to him on the pitch, shook his hand and had a word with him. But having seen a replay of the winner, from the angle behind Willock, he was definitely at fault, going too low too early. But what do we care?
Our aim next Saturday is to not erode that goal difference. A point would be amazing, three miraculous (though we did perform that miracle against Burnley last season).

Thanks for posting. That is one good read. Loved these couple of lines in particular, "Turning smoothly onto the ball the Loft cried ‘shoot’ as one. Willock obliged with a strike cleaner than Gwyneth Paltrow’s colon after a three-week juice cleanse (RIP Anthony Bourdain)".
Nope, never, not a cat in hells chance, nice try Kiwi, how much did it cost you for her ticket to stalk me ( I wasn’t there ) she Must have had 3 feckin seats just for one arse cheek
Not as funny as the cost for Kiwi to pay for 6 seats to place her there, he really is desperate to get rid of his stable of oompah loompahs, Kiwi Del Boy must have bought a load unseen now keeps trying to convince me to have one a week
