For some reason it doesn't seem like we've won 4 in 5 maybe it's because we had that awful Swansea performance in the middle of it
Ive always been a huge Ozan fan, but is it just me that thinks he's taken up a notch since the January window and Omur arriving...
Stating a fact isn't stirring anything. Think it's harsh on allsopp. Let in a suspect goal but I didn't see his distribution as an issue. Ball sticking up top was though.
Yes. Half time doesn't count as one of your three. I wondered at the time whether that was why we were doing the halftime sub, as opposed to later on.
Yep. You can put a good ball in but it takes someone to have the desire to win it. Greaves had that and also had the desire to win absolutely everything in our box all game. Would've been unjust on him and Jones if we'd not won that.
If that was the o/p then I probably wouldn't have contradicted it, but it wasn't about his jelly wrists, it was specifically distribution.
That subs rule is limited to subs in-play so that teams can't stop the game more frequently despite being able to change five players. At half time the game obviously hasn't started again yet, ergo is exempt. Also, in case people didn't know, if someone has to go off due to the concussion protocol, that does not count as one of the three stoppages, but also isn't taken as one of your five changes full stop. So you can still make five changes despite that one.
After his two starts as a sub,Omur really brings something extra with his play to the team and deserves to start on Tuesday at Southampton.
