Well unfortunately the player that scores goals like that is no longer here as apparently scoring goals doesn’t suit the system.
Nah, that video's a fake. Impossible. Rosenior inherited a train wreck remember. And as for Tufan, makes Hesford look slim. As someone said, there ain't half some bollox been spouted on here
We purposefully don’t attack like that. We get that ball in between the lines where they go running at the back four and it goes backwards because nobody breaks with him to support the attack, let alone 4 of them.
He’s meant to be the “experienced” head that helps us in games like this. I’d look to him more then most… I don’t look to him at all for what it’s worth as I think he’s been past it for 2 years now. But the way some (not necessarily yourself) spoke about the signing you’d think we signed a 28 year old sharp
If the keepers positioned themselves better they wouldn’t be getting beaten like that. FACTAFUCKINGMONDO
I didn’t see the Sunderland game where he scored the deflected goal but Carvalho has been completely underwhelming from what I’ve seen of him. Partly why I said Tufan should keep his place in the team ahead of him(Car also) the other day.
Carvalho was very good on debut against Norwich, everything he touched was excellent, and he was still pretty good against Sunderland, but he's dropped a level the last two.
Jeez, he really thinks he is the Second Coming of Christ doesn't he! He won the City of Culture bid for the City, and every player has developed because of him as they've not done as well in previous years. Maybe, Liam, the players are getting better as they get a little older too - maybe that has a part to play in it!?
Yeah we've been very lucky we've picked up a number of players who just naturally improved and would have been good in any team. In years gone past we've been unlucky and picked up a bunch of duds who weren't going to improve regardless of who was manager.
Some of us may be sceptical of his ability (currently) as a manager, but I don't see how anyone can question and criticise his passion for the city and club. He's absolutely right, the attitude of outsiders to us has been nothing short of laughable, just an extension of the same old **** thrown at us and the city over the years
We had Bruce calling us Little Old Hull and people moaned now we have someone talking up the team and city and people are still moaning.
Actually people loved Bruce and let a lot of his bullshit lie under the carpet, he brought success though that can’t be denied, and that’s mostly what people care about. Also he was white, middle aged and rather rotund which may or may not play a part.
I don't think LR says anything wrong at all in that interview (apart from calling it the European Capital of Culture...which the interviewer should have corrected) We're a bigger club than some rival fans think...so **** them. Good on him
If we wanted someone for our forwards to learn from perhaps we should have just got an attacking coach, or left it to Rosenior and Walker to do. We could have then used the squad place for a striker who can play more than just cameos and isn't a signing that is 'x' years too late. Nothing against Sharp, he's been a great striker at this level for many years, but that's history, and using the comparison to Deano is just lazy / lame imo.
