jck - nobody on this forum gets banned for holding different opinions to others on football or any other subject posters might choose to discuss, but sometimes a line needs to be drawn to avoid a meltdown. For what it's worth and although others might disagree, I think some of your posts have attracted unnecessary ridicule rather than just reply comments, and to that extent you deserve a break. However, if you persist in calling out other member's opinions in pursuit of your own agenda rather than just joining discussions, the forum disruption caused may need to be addressed. This is a polite response despite my ability as a five year old to swear. Incidentally. if you are offended by the use of "foul language" in member's posts, there is a simple solution. Go into your profile and select "preferences". There you will see a "profanity filter". Just uncheck the box and you will have no need to put up with it any longer. The alternative is you could simply **** off.
Baggies next with Rambo having 45 under his belt and the new boys getting a taster. A chance for us to see how they can be most effective and to tweak things a bit. An away game seems to be advantageous this term but begs the question as to why we struggle at home. Is it the tactics? Is it as others have alluded to, that CCS is far from being an intimidating place to come? I don't know but I've read carefully the opinions of others on here. The joy of being a footballer fan eh! Blooooooobirds
Early days Phillips but was far less effective than McGuiness yesterday. The latter is rarely beaten in the air. I couldn't say the same for Phillips. Likewise he was not as comfortable with the ball at his feet. All of this put pressure on the rest of the defence especially Goutas. In saying that Phillips has only had 10 days at the club so not really time to bed in. Hopefully this can be addressed in the next couple of weeks as McGuiness may be out for a while.
I’ve had my say on this in earlier posts today. It’s got to be the team selection and defensive set up hasn’t it?. Bulut seeks more concerned with stopping the opposition play and sets up his team far too defensively; take yesterday a big kick up to Etete & there’s no blue shirt anywhere near him. That’s how he sets them up in away games but not at home. Now he’s seen it fails perhaps he’ll change it and set it up more positively and so let the opposition worry about defending rather than the other way round.
Yes mate I had read your earlier posts . I'm just wondering if there's something else at work and the players feel more supported by our vociferous away support. Like everyone else, it's just a theory. It's unfortunate that not one of us knows the real reasons behind so many things at the club. But we carry on.
I will post my opinion until I am banned, if you can repeatedly swear at me then it is only fair I can say what I like to you. No matter what others say personally about me you do not tell them anything do you? But you can say what you like as can others it bothers me not, if others are bothered by my posts that is their problem not mine. I do not have a problem, everyone else on here seem to have a problem including you. Now either you want a forum that is alive you need more like me and less like you, that is just my opinion of course. Let me assure you what I actually think of some on here is much worse than they think of me. These people only have to put up with me but I have to put up with all their posts no matter what. Ugbo can only score goals...what the hell is that ..at the same time desperate for someone to score goals...it is no good knowing what you are talking about if you do not understand what you are talking about, Ugbo is a proven goalscorer and it can only be bias that anyone would not want him playing for us.Seriously you have posted directly at me and here is my answer. If you don`t like it then to put it mildly ban me, You need me more than I need you.
We do indeed. As I was walking out yesterday I said to my lad - we put up with that game after game but we’ll be back next time - and then we looked around at the droves of fans exiting the ground probably thinking the exact same thing.
I'm going to keep trying to look on the positives.... This year the majority of fans are getting disgruntled due to poor performances and not managing to keep up with our early (and surprising) push into the playoff spots. Last season we would have ripped your arm off to be sat in 14th spot and just 7 points from the playoffs at this stage of the season with a game in hand over most of those around us... I appreciate it's all optics and views from different angles but on a like for like basis, even though it really doesn't feel like it, we actually are having a better season Oh, and of course our nearest neighbours either side of us are unable to do a double this year and take all the bragging rights
I would rip your arm off to be back in the premier league where we were twice. If you have low expectations what do you expect. We have a new team and a new manager, I expect a lot better than what we got and after all the bad results that is not asking for much.14th is rubbish. If anyone is happy with rubbish they are in the right place with Bulut. While so many are thankful for small mercies I am hoping for a small miracle. If Bulut was in charge last season we would have finished bottom with these results.
Put this in perspective. This season, never mind last season, we were at times 6th. and joint 6th. and now we are 14th. This is this season, last season is in the past so stop living in the past and concentrate on where we are today. We were 6th. and now we are 14th. I am not ripping any arms off to be 14th.
Stop living in the past jck, we've not been 6th for a while now...... Who knows, maybe we will be again at some point... But hey, 14th is better than 22nd or lower in my book. Not as good as 1st though, but then I'm not sure if Leicester will swap places with us even if we ask nicely and explain to them how we're not meeting your high expectations.... Maybe you should write to Erol and suggest some of your incredibly insightful and innovative tactics? I'm sure that'd do it....
Will put my rare tuppence in. Bulut flatters to deceive, his tactics are questionable, there is at the moment the lack of any sort of plan, as Dave Jones always said 'Get the ball in the box and we will score' and that we did. What is on offer at the moment is a Turgid mess, Bulut managed in fairness to clear the crowd out 15 minutes from time without many booing which was an achievement in itself. His choice of team on Saturday was unbelievable, Mystic Meg would have put out a better attacking side. We wont get relegated however under Bulut we will not achieve anything other than mid table mediocrity. Bulut out for me. However it is only my opinion and as we all know opinions count for Feck all.
Good to see you on here again. Not 100% I agreement but as you correctly say, it's all just opinion. Post more often if you can
Hi Isaw - don't see much of you these days - come back and enjoy the fun. Must say I'm about half way there towards your thinking - maybe even a bit more than half way to be honest. Team selections and substitutions have been wierd to say the least. Maybe Bulut has/had a plan but it doesn't seem to be bearing fruit. As you say we won't go down but I'm not convinced we're getting the best return from what we've got.
