Vince, just watched the extended highlights and they show Hardi e was in his own half when the pass was made.

Most are very proud mate, very proud. It’s like chalk and cheese to the players we have now and the crud we had in the premiership and championship a few years ago.

Not sure he shushed the crowd but he definitely pointed to his chest and his ear. For a second I thought wonder if that's aimed at the crowd cause he is aware of the needs a rest thing but then thought it could as equally be him pointing to his ear saying get louder!

Who knows and always best to not look too deeply into these things. Either way he played yesterday like he did in his first few months here really, everytime he got the ball he looked to drive forward and do something. He has definitely put his name in for a start!

I agree to some extent but Rusyn has hardly played any 1st team football so I’d give him a run in the team

Also when you listen to Clarkes interview he admits it was the players that got it wrong in the first half. When he was asked what the improvement was in the second half he said the gaffer told some home truths about what we were doing wrong and executed to game plan perfectly in the second half.
Which from what I take from that is how we played in the second half was actually how Beale had planned for us to play the whole game.
So I don't think it was a case of just of readjusting the tactics it was more look I've told you what to do , if you do it we'll win the game.
I must admit I didn't want Beale, not many did, however in the last few games we've definitely started to look different. Hopefully his style is starting to take shape and if yesterday and the Stoke game are anything to go by I'm getting quite excited

My real disappointment about the result yesterday - and this is me really nit picking here - but I was disappointed that Rusyn didn't score. That lad has got that much movement and energy in a game and he never gave the centre halves a moments peace. He was making runs that never got spotted, pulling the defense in all directions to make space. I would put him up there with Phillips and wonder how many goals he would have with the likes of Quinny alongside him. Love watching him play and for me he's first choice striker

Yes. Thought he was brilliant and a goal would have sent his confidence sky high.

Also yesterday was further evidence we should kick towards the south stand second half. Crowd and team responded to it

The only slight negative was, for their goal I thought Hume was daydreaming, was no where near Hardie. Should have been at least just off his shoulder anticipating any balls coming out.

O’Nien was superb yesterday. Previously thought it was only a matter of time before he is replaced at CB (I’ve never been particularly critical but just expected Seelt to take over soon) but no reason to break that pairing up at the moment. No grappling with players yesterday just solid defending and fantastic perception on where to move the ball to and accurate in execution.

Crowd were very quiet first half. Team had nothing to feed off but that’s all a bit chicken and egg.

That’s not not picking it’s spotting someone’s hard work not being rewarded. But it’s is really cos the team won and MB mentioned his hard work and movement in one of his interviews. Hopefully he stays in the team.

It's clearly onside with the view from the North stand.
Well done to all the fans that made the long trip, I thought Plymouth played some good football - it might have been different if that offside 'goal' was given to them

Was impressed with Plymouth's one song they had. Fair play to them for never giving up and trying something else...

The Plymouth managing thinks it's all really really unfair <wah>

"I thought it was quite a . . . I'm trying to choose my words carefully here . . . if I was the referee I would go home disappointed tonight. I thought it was a very one-sided decision making process from him."

Foster also felt Pierre Ekwah's equaliser was a result of another decision that went against his players, but admitted that it was a poor defensive lapse that allowed the midfielder to drive his effort in at the near post.

"The manner of the goal is disappointing," he said.

"I would like to look back at the 87 free-kicks the referee gave them on the edge of the box and pick the bones out of them all, but we are disappointed in that when they have shifted it the wall has broke. Probably what was the worst free-kick they took has been rolled into the bottom corner, but that's on us. That's our responsibility to defend that moment better."
