I couldn't really find much written about her, which was quite sad because she was so well known by the Greeks. I think it would have helped if I could write or understand Greek in my search. Managed to find a couple of albums, that I would have not seen without persistence - although never found the answer to my own question, where did the influence of 'The Wind' come from and whom did it influence in later years, although I suspect one day the penny will drop and the answer will come to me (and aid a better search) - I have to say, like one of yours once before, the more I played it (The Wind), the more I liked it...
Music does my head in, it wants to know the fooking ins and outs of everything It's like that Hotel California, where I knew the Don Felder lead, now I'm looking at Joe Walsh's lead and got that saved to look at, but Aleta took over.
Big fan of this song then I found out that it was written for John Peel. They were really good friends. Added a dimension to the lyrics.
banger had this on repeat for bout 20 mins now cleaning the gaff with a massive ziggy 4 beers and no sleep since Monday night. So now I've also just realised while finding my work book at last (lost since Xmas) I've left 3 jobs hanging til today for quotes so I'm also doing that **** when I have beer and bifta breaks. Was watching the news and now I'm sitting here half watching the lobo awards and just now a they do a little 10minute shout out to 30 yrs of UK garage, my times, we lived for those raves, followed man like dj EZ, micky flynn, norris da boss wyndross, ratpack, creed, mc neat to name a few, ice fm 88. Gas club, club coo, bagleys, Stratford recs, Watford junction. Full denim with bucket turnups, gucci loafers, moschino pattern jeans. 20 pound bumbles. Hugging strangers... Lived it and loved it... Anyways so they announced morris da boss wyndross to kick this lil performance off. Okay I'm thinking this has my attention..... Then a couple mcs jump on some classic tracks, 1st was 2 of "da click" members psg and creed. Now if you know about garage you will know that da cliks now legendary and iconic ice fm 88.4 performance of good rhymes......p (one Friday night in trellick tower 4 floors above my flat, where the pirate station was hosted then, it moved several times due to police raids) Anyway back to this moho garage thing. So if you know about garage then you'll know that if you're doing a throwback tribute then you start with that ****ing tune. Well i got 2 verses of that then the other ten minutes of ****ing so solid cru. Fuxk off you part time ****ers who sorted that out
