Had a 5 min chat with Tony this morning he wished us well for today, and I've got a ticket for down there.
Misses the craic up here but he said we just move on.
Not 1 bad word at all.

Cheers mate, good to know. Love him personally, and will always remember him as a big successs for us. Did a great job helping young players become men. Hope he is a success at Birmingham.

He asked what reaction he would get from our fans.
I suggested he need not worry about that.

I am going to Brum. He will get a round of applause for me, at the start and at the end. I reckon the away fans will thank him fully.

I'm shocked he a) cares and b) would expect anything other than a warm welcome

Really wish I was going to this one

I hope he doesn’t get his name sung unless MB get his Michael Beale Red n White Army first. It’s about backing Sunderland not Birmingham. Even then a round of applause for TM is enough.

I personally wouldn't applaud an opposition manager unless it was exceptional circumstances which I don't see at play here.

I wish him luck, except for when he's back here. I wish him no manner of luck at all for that.

He was there for a short time, we played some good football, and some bad, won nothing and listened to endless moans about the players ...

... I like the bloke, and would think he's good crack, but Beale definitely doesn't deserve Mowbray's name being sung.

Yeah it's bad form for me. Not exactly a strong show of solidarity.

Decent bloke but I don’t wish any ex manager any luck when they’re playing in the same division.

Not being arsey mate but I hope both managers come out at the same time ...

... in that way people can decide who they're applauding in their own minds.

Hope you enjoy it, decent away end when you're winning but be careful coming out.
