Philogene
Morton
Tufan.
We looked unplayable for the first 20 minutes so don't know what happened after that. Hanging on a bit at the end when we should have been out of sight by halftime but that's the Championship.
Absolute deadlock getting off the South Stand car park after the game and Walton Street looked the same. Total gridlock for an hour.
Police cars and ambulances all over the place. Heard someone was attacked outside the Dugout Bar after the game, and heard of trouble outside St Stephens.
Which is ridiculous when the police on duty virtually outnumbered the away fans.
That aside, three points is three points.

I think he's brilliant if he's got a bit of space in a good position. But 99% of the time you don't, you have ugly defenders hanging off you and have to stand up to it and I think he struggles with that side of it.

His fast lay offs and dummies are some of the best traits in his game, turn us to defense to attack on a six pence then on top of thag for a supposed soft lad who doesn’t like the niggles he was very physical and quick today with a hostile press. Quality gritty false 9 performance.

Someone was being treated on the floor there straight after the game, but I doubt it was related to away fans. There weren't any there at the time, they were all penned in outside the away end still.

A few of those fast layoffs are when he gives it away in tight spaces. In terms of physicality and effort, he does run a lot these days and he is quite aggressive out of possession (he particularly likes a big shoulder barge when he can get a run up and smash the guy) but when he's got the ball himself he is very easily dispossessed, it happens a lot.

Anyone tho k Fabio seemed to dwell a bit and play simple balls a little slowly when we were trying to attack - might be unfair but a few times he slowed it .

Tufan - Duracell Bunny
Philogene - Strong performance for his first game back.
Morton - another solid game but the same could be said for the rest, no one had a bad game.

I think people tend to forget that the other team do have a say in how a game pans out and Millwall had to change their system to try and stay in the game because we were looking like we were going to tear them a new one. What we have to do is figure out ways to break down teams that want to stop us from playing.
Hopefully, once the new boys have settled in and with a much stronger and more versatile bench, we can find the way to do that.

Philogene

Tufan

Honourables for Zaroury, Coyle, Jones, Greaves, Morton and the subs.

Felt Slater was a little off it for him and Alsopp didn't have much to do but he kept them out when needed.
