Been there already this season. That Thursday night game against West Ham, not only lost but then then got heavily delayed on the M1 on the trip back home and finally arriving at 2:30 in the morning. Nice. Oh and up for work at 6 the next day...
No even the worst of the night though. Sutton v Harrogate - 475 mile round trip in midweek. I suspect this was a rearranged fixture, so it had to be played midweek but that doesn’t make it easier for fans. And there are regular direct coach journeys from Birmingham to Newcastle as well as train links. Who but who else travels from Harrogate to Sutton?

Technically not a rival, what with them currently being in the German second tier, but it's been reported that if Schalke are relegated from the 2.Bundesliga, where the only thing currently separating them from the relegation zone is their goal difference, they would be refused ta license to play in the German third tier due to their debts of €165m so would have to start over as an amateur team
Not going to lie. Liverpool have absolutely battered Chelsea tonight, and are worthy of the 3 points based on the gulf in quality between the two sides. But they got very fortunate with a few decisions that game. Van Dijk especially can count himself lucky on two big penalty incidents.
Since Klopp's made it public knowledge that he's leaving, it just feels like it's going to take an awful lot for the referees to make a big decision against Liverpool, especially at Anfield. Seems as if everyone is trying to get the stars to align for Liverpool to win the big prize(s) at the end of the season.
I just saw the highlights of Pool - Chelsea. How is Darwin Nunez so good yet equally so ****? His movement and all round play is superb but the guy’s finishing is tragic. Strange, strange player. If he could finish on a semi consistent basis he’d probably be one of the top five strikes in the game right now.
My money is on Nemesis giving them a VAR whipping when Spurs play them again (perhaps it will cost them the PL title) ...
He will honestly be very dangerous if learns that goals are scored in between the posts and not hitting them direct. Everything else about his game is pretty much superb. He’s the ****test great player in Europe right now!
Just watched the highlights and they gave every decision to Liverpool. How does the first goal stand when the VAR pillock said it hit the forward's arm? Ludicrous.
Plus the fact that it has just been revealed that this season will be turned into a documentary for them. It's a fait accompli at this point.
