Vila have actually not been all that since mid-December. While they have been picking up points they have been struggling against some of the lower teams. If we start well I think we have a good chance of winning this.

Aston Villa are undefeated at home for about 20 games ! Aston VIlla have pace throughout whereas Newcastle have 3 quick players at one end and everyone else is made of lead. One pass and sides are running at our back 4 as they back peddle.

I've seen absolutely nothing to suggest Newcastle are capable of winning this game and seen absolutely no desire to change anything from our manager.

All we get is noise about injuries as if we're the only club that's had them, meanwhile absolutely nothing different is tried. Eddie Howe just stands on the side line doing absolutely nothing... he's not even vocal. He's not a bad manager but he seems like a fair weather one ... when his plan fails he does nothing and just hopes it will improve.

The plan involves demanding Gordon and Almiron run around like mad men until they're completely exhausted. Once they are exhausted the game becomes one sided in favour of the better coached side week in week out.

I predict Burn and Longstaff will feature in Tonight's comments.

We're alright but we desperately need reinforcements and to shift one or two useless folk

Majority of our over 30s need shifting

3 or 4 good signings away so I guess we've just got to see this season out and hope they don't sign ****e like Billing, Rashford and Dunk.

Quite clear we arent signing a soul this window.

So this season is a write off, unless we are banking on us winning the FA Cup

Which we won't

Seems that way yes and tbh I'm fine just waiting for the summer window and hoping willock and Barnes coming back gives us a chance in the cup this season.

If we get everyone fit and get a lucky draw we might be fortunate enough to suffer yet another painful cup final defeat.

Would be the most impressive result of the season if we get a win from this.
