I heard about his position yesterday. Seems odd. Is he generally a troublemaker, in which case he might be disruptive at the club, or is there a particular issue between him and the club.
A strange situation either way.

 

Don't know about his "personality" but he's exactly the type of player we need on the park.

 

He has been around the block a bit over the last 10 years. Doesn't stay longer than a couple of seasons at most clubs. Perhaps has a bit of wanderlust - attracted by £ signs maybe.

Now 30 looking for his last big paypacket?

We first came across him at Brentford under Mark Warburton. He was impressive then.

Has suffered a few injuries over the years but a very industrious and creative midfielder.

I would snap him up immediately but money likely to be an issue and would he play second fiddle to Rambo?

Getting a decent striker would be great. However, given the decline in the number of chances we create, he could suffer with us. I'm guessing that the return of Rambo is in the minds of the powers that be. Let's hope it all comes together.

Hope it happens and then opens doors for, ideally: -

Centre back - Nat Phillips would be good
Attacking midfielder
Left back unless O'Dowda fit again or Bagan recalled
Goal keeper with Runarsson sent back to Arsenal

Would be a busy few days.

Am I being too optimistic?

 

WoL says (no link sorry) that as well as Ilic we are close to signing Ndaiye and still in the frame for Phillips. We shall see.

 

Gotta retain hope and optimism.... they're lifelong traits of being a Bluebird aren't they????
