I have no idea what level opponent that YT was from BUT, he'd have most of the championship opposition on toast... Philo one side him the other... Wow...!! but lets wait for the ink to dry...
I think it's a real shame when people speak of our players in that manner. Lokilo may not have lived up to some people's expectations but in no way has he been a passenger.
To be fair, they all look god on their show reels, but yeah, seems to have plenty of pace, good it tight areas and a trick or two.
I think Lokilo would do ok in a lot of championship teams. We just seem to be ramping up another notch beyond him.
I'd have more sympathy for him if he had the courage to take a man on or try a killer pass. Taking the easy option every time isn't helping him, although I imagine confidence plays a key part. 1 Goal and 0 assists from 21 appearances is probably as close to being a passenger as you can get though.
Was coming in to say this. We all wanted him to succeed as he was our first big Acun signing but he was very average even from the start. 1 goal while here on loan BEFORE injuries..
He showed a lot of raw talent whilst on loan as a 20 year old. Home games against Cardiff and Reading particularly he was brilliant and they had no answer to him. I don't think any City fans thought he was rubbish at the time.
Bloody hell he’s even better than Kamil Ghilas ! Seriously though he looks like he’ll be a lot of fun to watch, if it happens. Just hope he can dance round some of the cloggers too.
Sinik national team record seemed better than his club record from memory which is a bit of an anomoly - but then maybe he did well against extremely weak opposition. He clearly can't hack the physical aspect of this league. Maybe if you could morph him with Ali you'd have a real player.
I think most of us were underwhelmed by Sinik. He'd scored 4 goals in over 100 superlig games, and only provided 10 assists. It looked a poor singing on paper and proved to be even worse.
