It was an excellent finish, had everything - 2 sendings off and 2 penalties. Sheffield United were a bit unlucky there. They were the much better side in the 2nd half.
Tell you what, I’ll bet the owners weren’t expecting to be 6 points adrift of West Ham, 10 losses already and Villa away next.
Thought those final decisions were quite harsh on West Ham to be fair. Soft penalty for Sheffield and then Bowen was rugby tackled in the box, with the foul going against him.
Thought the goalkeepers challenge was very clumsy. Like to see those get given as goalkeeper missed the ball and collided with the men.Bowen’s wasn’t a penalty. He was backing into the defender and ended up pushing him over.
Clumsy, maybe, but not enough ti be a clear cut penalty. Defender vs Bowen wasn't even facing the ball and had both arms wrapped around him.
Anyone see Madrid's game over the weekend vs bottom of the table 2-0 at the half and they got 3 massive decisions, penalty that just wasn't to make it 2-1, disallowed goal at 2-1 for ??? I'm not even sure but would have put Almeria 3-1 up and their 2nd goal to make it 2-2 was clearly a handball. Honestly the most obvious case of cheating in football I've ever seen. Go watch the highlights, disgraceful.
Just gone and had a look. Wow. That's ****ing disgusting. Pen the Almeria player is being climbed all over so if anything it's a foul to Almeria, never handball. The disallowed, he's just moving naturally but some Real fanny throws himself to the ground, foul (no foul). The 2nd, it clear as day hits his upper arm. If this is the state of things, football is dead. And there's nothing we can do about it.
