I thought he refereed the game really well. Wasn’t letting players get away with throwing themselves to the ground with minor contact. The foul on Sterling was a very clear penalty. Don’t think they even bothered going to VAR and no complaints from the Fulham defender.
Barton has a point when it comes to meritocracy though mate. He’s bang on. Best person should always get the job. Not the one who ticks the most boxes.
