What d you do for a living? In business ( unfortunately that's what football is) aims and targets change all the time. You may have big plans at the start of the year, 3 months in something's happen and you revaluate according.

I’ve dropped mine back to mid-table, for some time now.

Just want to see more players getting involved/experience in the tight areas so we put a run of results togethe and be in a better place to have a go next season…. With much better recruitment in the summer - would be amazed if owt positive happens this January

I actually argue contracts for a living, can you tell? . 3 months in I would lower my aims because I had no choice. But my aims would need to be SMART, he knew he was up against the relegated clubs with big fat parachute payments. It's different though because ultimately Speakman had such a poor window in the summer is why he's had to do it, that's the "something that happened" . Look you say amend I say lowered, it doesn't matter because it's the same

SMART aims? I work in transport and the industry is changing by the week nevermind by the year.

Yeah he maybe got carried away with how we did last year but does that make him a failure? He's got plenty in the bank for me.

Look I'm bored , people are bored, you've clarified he's had to "amend his aims down". It's irrelevant how it's came about, it's semantics. He has claimed "obsession with progression" as the reason why he sacked Mowbray. I think he will consider it a failure himself if we don't progress. I will be very happy with the play offs, I can't see it, but I would also see progression, not necessarily as positions in the table as long as the progress is obvious with regards the model, the playing style, the identity, young players with a resale value ready to be reinvested. This is a big window for the club and Speakman.

    I see there’s a #bealeout trend on Twitter.

The guys been here a month, we are coming across very entitled here for me.

I don’t disagree with your post but a question. If Speakman is obsessed with progression and data what is the point in some fans Beale Out campaign ? won’t he do it anyway if we’re not winning ?

It was suggested on RTG a couple of hours ago. I don't do twitter, I don't rate Beale but I very much doubt I would do stuff like that.

I wasn’t pointing it at you sorry, just saying that they aren’t going to let someone be **** for very long and put progress and their jobs at risk. Of course the same applies to Speakman and Harvey with transfers. They need a good window and a performing coach or the board will be at them.

Problem is that may be true ,however Ba would have been far more influential on the right wing than Pritchard which was where he was playing, if Pritchard plays then jobe shouldn't.
Prime example was when we turned over possession near the half way line, Neil recieved it on the half turn, left his man for dead and went to play it out wide, both jobe and Pritchard were 5 yards infant of him and not a sole out to the right.
There are quite a few players better than Ba at the club right now but how many fit RW do we have

Ba isn't a winger. We bought him as a centre mid.

Ba's best position is a winger, we might have bought him as a cm but he was a versatile player in france who played 3 or 4 different positions

Young players sometimes take time to find their best positions, for me Ba has the skill set to be a good winger for us

Yet his best game against soton he played as a winger and ex coaches reckon it's his best position.
