So you are Will Still, young London/Belgian coach and have a follow up approach from SAFC. You need to decide whether you walk and do your research. You see many fans have turned on the previous coach prior to appointment and were chanting sack the coach after 5 games and sack the board because they think the team are substandard and they put signs up in a bar, starting a twitter campaign and abusing the coach for being a cockney **** with a mole. You have a secure job and ginger hair do you ….
A say yes please I like a challenge
B say **** that for a game of soldiers

He had 2 weeks to come up with a counter option like maybe 2 or 3 passes then a clip into the area between their press and back 4 - that would have led to them tweaking their press taking the pressure off our back 5 or 6.

It's not genius level coaching this - and it's beyond beale and speakman ffs

The usual way to beat a press like that is to play a direct game. But we don't have anyone to play up front to hold the ball up in a direct game. We are a possession based side so it appeared he tried to play to our strengths, which is play through the thirds, and hope that was good enough. It didn't work but he can't do what he doesn't have the players to do.

Similarly, Seelt played out of position at RB against Hull because whatever has happened in training has made him believe that there wasn't a better option.

It's not beyond either of them. They are looking for solutions to the problems we have in the side, it's just that there are only so many solutions available to them. We pressed better against Hull than against Ipswich and he changed the shape in midfield. So he is looking for ways to make things work but until players return from injury or new signings are made, his options are limited (even if everyone is fit, we don't have the players to play a more direct game with the current squad).

Nope I know we don't have the direct option which is why I said the less passes and then clipped into midfield was an option. That didn't happen until Pritchard sort of made it happen after 65 mins- ended up hitting the bar. Beale is clueless imo.

I also think bar one glaring exceptional error leading to another badly defended corner, our defensive organisation was better against Ipswich

Heads in the sand I think. No way will speakman admit he's made a monumentally bad decision on Beale lightly imo.

I think a few at the club will want you to go and do their work elsewhere. Imagine being an aspiring coach watching your own fans do this from -3 days willing their coach to fail. Thick as **** some people and others horrible pack mentality.

Not long in and pissed but who do the Beale out lads want in. Genuinely interested because before we got him the only name’s mentioned were sexy named foreign coaches and I’d never heard of them apart from on here. Schumacher was mentioned and dissed but other than that and Potter( no ****in chance of him) I don’t recall a realistic name.

If he's as confident in his own abilities as CLOUGH (deserves capitals) or mourinho (doesnt) then he probably thought, serves them right for not appointing me!

hopefully they realease a statement saying he been sacked in next couple of days doubt it though
