My take on that.
Pritch has to be in the middle. Jobe isn’t terrible but we simply have to play Pritch in his best position. That said his dead balls were ****e. If I’m honest I think we need a 10 with a bigger goal threat.
Jobe should have been pulled to get Ba on sooner and move Pritch BUT I can see why they kept him on instead of Ekwah who was slow and ****e
One dimensional - everything goes left and that is why they can load up- they know where it’s going every time and pile up the numbers - and that’s because have no depth on the wings
Pace - the speed we distribute the ball has no pace and urgency - at times all we did was run with the ball. It’s ponderous.
Defensively I thought we were better than last week until the at dire goal
Our goal threat. Despite everybody bleating on about it - I’ll say it again. Rusyn at this point is NOT the answer at 9. If our leadership don’t sort this problem they deserve all they get. Hemir’s physicality maybe brought something better but the options are shocking for an aspiring premier league side.
Did we play well? No. Did Hull deserve to win? Did they ****. They won with two huge slices of luck when we were on top.
Beale? I think we’re getting worse. Yes he needs players - left back , winger, striker all highlighted tonight - we had three central midfielders and all 3 were ****e tonight. So change it. We had nothing threatening the right, so ****ing change it. At this point he looks uninspiring. I’d ditch him for Rosenior in a nano second whose sharpness highlights the opposite.

6 league games and 2 of them being wins. I doubt any coach has been sacked for a record like that so early. After the slightly surprising timing of the Mowbray sacking, I think it would scare the **** out of anyone currently in employment. We might convince an out of work coach, but that's it in my opinion.
Look beyond it. We are a supposedly data driven club and our data is shocking.

The Hemir for Rusyn decision was already made before the goal. To suddenly change that decision would have been a reaction, not a plan. I don't have too much of a problem with that or with bringing Ba and Pembele on, though he left all of the decisions 10 minutes too late.

Rusyn was completely ineffective for me. I'm struggling to see how he's going to make an impact unless we play 2 up top or play him on the wing.

Hemir and Rusyn together is looking like a decent idea to me. Wouldn't disrupt the team much it'd just mean dropping Pritchard and who knows they might click together. They've got the right balance for a front two.

The coach is paid to get results. I am looking beyond it, but I just can't understand why you think a good coach at another club would consider joining us if we've sacked a coach after 6 games.

People on the outside are not fans, it would look completely knee jerk and ridiculous.

DeBoer was out after about 5 games at Palace. I'm not one for sacking managers, but this bloke just doesn't seem like it's going to work

It annoys me when people obviously want us to lose to prove their point ...

... sorry for that, I wanted us to win under Moyes who I despised.

im not sure anyone wants us to lose or they wouldn’t go to games and prity sure they wouldn’t come on here to chat **** about Sunderland. That was ****ing shocking that and no optimism is gona cover it unfortunately.

Folk have lost their minds and we are living in the social media age and negativity spreads like wildfire. There is now a narrative about Beale and is getting a lot of traction. I don't particularly like the guy, but he's not solely to blame for some.poor results and performances. People want him out now and I find it.embarassing and a sad reflection on our fanbase tbh

But where would Jobe play? There’s not a chance in hell he will be dropped which is a massive part of the issue.

Think I might avoid the old inevitable Beale out, coaches are useless nonsense for a while. Anyone whined about subs yet?

One idea would be to sack Beale and downgrade again. At some point ask yourselves a question - why would top end coaches come here. They wont, it is really simple. We have no appeal to coaches on the up due to our constant turnover.

Over to the owners to provide better players. If tonight proved one thing is we need better players in tight games. Decision making was naieve and execution in tight spaces was poor.

Good night folks, just think carefully about whether this squad is good enough, versus whether the coach is a duffer.

Beale doesn’t think anyone will come in, that’s a pretty clear admission. Not where other clubs are also trying to strengthen at least.

Beale also says we need the fans to get behind the team and not boo / chant against him
