Put our current players in positions that play to their strengths rather than trying to fit them into positions that suit the same old season long format might be an answer, its risk free with 5 subs per game, then we would not have to take any risks in the transfer market, we wont go down but we could go up this season imo. Apologies to all if I keep repeating myself, as I have nothing else to say and enjoy this forum immensely reading all these posts for or against, I dont mind fire away . OaU

Posted this back in the summer but I will post it again now for fun.

This agency represent Aouchiche, Ba and Pembele. They also represent Begraoui who we were linked to in the summer, and if I remember was more or less confirmed to have had a tour at the AoL.

Would not be surprised to see another one of these players join us this window.

I know we all have different opinions but talking to a lad at work who has been a season ticket holder for years and in his own words “he has had enough & won’t be renewing “
I said well surely we are in a better place now than 2-3 seasons ago but he’s having none of it! He’s normally level headed and sensible but he’s genuinely had enough. I said we are 7th man and have half the window left, no response ! I respect him because he never misses a game and does try to get to as many away games as he can afford but can’t understand him on this. It’s poor at the moment but not anywhere near as bad as it’s been.

Would love to know the real story there. I wonder of there was any approach or even any chance of it happening.

If the club were interested and there was a chance and they back off due to TM doing well and the chance of fan back lash, I wouldn't have been impressed to see him replaced at the time but look how it worked out.

I’m liking these links to Mubama but know sweet FA about him. After searching on the internet a bit, I’m not much wiser.

Is he better than the lads we have now? Is he strong, quick and decent at giving centre backs a tough time? That’s what we could really do with.

Have you though his reason might not be how poor were playing and he is fed up with other things?

I watched the West Ham game online pre Ekwah joining and he looked a busy threat at that level. Don’t know much more like. Hasn’t made the first team enough for me though to be our only striker addition.

My mate has had one for well over 20 years and he had to get moved from the North stand for the mags. He is a train driver and constantly moves shifts, holidays, spares etc to get to home games, but even he is uttering that he will not get a ST and just pick and choose. I don’t think he will do that, but the fact that he is talking about it, is quite telling.
