Same unconvincing lineups same ridiculous substitutions, the decline is continuing as before.

Unless we improve the squad I think we’ll finish between 8-12th.
On squad strength alone that feels about right. The top 6 all have better squads currently in my view and Hull and Boro probabaly do as well.
It’s very early with Beale but I’d argue that all those teams mentioned above have better head coaches/managers.
Having said all that 2 or 3 quality additions could make a huge difference.
I reckon it will Peter out in mediocrity
We are hitting a lot more early crosses. One of the biggest criticisms of Mowbray's tactics was our insistence on trying to walk the ball into the net.
10th on 38 points. 3 points behind 6th.Been looking on stat websites can't find it but does anyone know where we were after 27 games last season? Pretty sure we were nowhere near 6th might be wrong like. Much tougher league this year yet very much in the play off mix.
Cheers mate10th on 38 points. 3 points behind 6th.
Only Boro out of the teams that finished in the playoffs were currently in the playoff positions. Luton 9th, us 10th and Coventry 15th.
Well, the counter argument could be that playing Jobe as a striker means he is more likely to get on the end of the crosses given his height.More early crosses sounds great. But we drop Rusyan and don't play a recognized striker to get on the end of those crosses
I think we are using jobe so much to cash in on him and get as much as we can while the Bellingham name is in hype.Well, the counter argument could be that playing Jobe as a striker means he is more likely to get on the end of the crosses given his height.
It's a thin argument mind, I'm not sure even I could make a case for dropping Rusyn yesterday

Played for the u21s on fridayCaveat to my post....don't think Pembele was on the bench v Ipswich....is he injured?
Totally agree mate. It's one explanation, because his performances haven't merited non-stop selection.
Beale has this week with the players in front of a home match on Friday.....and he knows all about Hull having played them recently.... then next week with the players before another home match on the Saturday.
This is time, without midweek matches or travelling, for him to use wisely,to build some rapport and get his ideas for their improvement across to the players. As far as I'm aware, there are no suspensions or additional injuries to contend with,so I'm looking for brighter, cohesive performances from both these matches. He's had time to weigh up what he's got and how to use the talent we have. I'm expecting winning performances as a result of exciting, attacking football again.
Aye but we didn't have a busted flush as a head coach. We will go the opposite way to last season from here. It stands out a mile.10th on 38 points. 3 points behind 6th.

Call me mad but I always live in hope. The future’s bright as far as I’m concerned and I’m sure I’ll have plenty more good days out at the match this season. We’re in a great position for the playoffs.
When Mowbray won just 3 of his first 10 games picking up just 12 points, what was your opinion on him?Aye but we didn't have a busted flush as a head coach. We will go the opposite way to last season from here. It stands out a mile.
