I think I'm going to refer to W. Sharp has 'Old Bill' from now on, because like plod he did feck all.
I'd have taken him at 27, but not at 37. He was blowing out of his arse after 20mins.

Ok. I’m surprised some of this hasn’t been mentioned already but here goes:

We took an age to get our first shot on target (over 50 mins). This is a serious problem. From minute 55ish, we played good, attacking football. That is simply not good enough at home.

Time and time again we are too slow to get into the game.

I now genuinely think Rosenior is delusional if he thinks that was good enough. It wasn’t. The fact that Sharp hardly got a touch says it all.

Twine started well. But then rapidly went downhill. Those who say he had a great game - he did some good stuff, but made A LOT of mistakes. Yet it was still one of his best games for us. Again, says it all.

There’s a lot of blame going on the defence. I don’t agree with it. They didn’t have that many clear cut chances and their second goal fell nicely.

The attacking play is where we are at fault. I’ll say it again, it shouldn’t take more than half the game to get a shot on target. We are too slow. We play pretty football that is easy on the eye, but it lacks any threat. I think Evington said something like this earlier.

We lack bravery and we really miss Delap/Philogene to take the game by the scruff of the neck.

“Their second goal fell nicely…”We had loads more crosses but couldn’t get one to fall nicely. Maybe because we were banging in crosses which, if they beat the first man, ended on the heads of much taller defenders or sailed past the far post. Someone mentioned at half time to get it on the deck instead of launching balls into the box and getting out jumped every time.

Lokilo played a lot better when we had another out and out winger on the opposite side. That being said, he does seem to very much be a one trick pony. I'm assuming his left is his favoured foot? Then he needs playing on the left with the aim of whipping a low ball in behind the defense. The cut back and float one to the back post just isn't working for us at all.

Our crossing was appalling. I fully agree.

I'm pretty sure that when we signed him the idea would be for him to come on with 20 minutes to go

Losing Delap was a massive blow to us

Think Lokilo looked ok in a balanced team but in fairness with hindsight the lad just isn't cut up to it. Amount of times he has decent space and he just finds the most unique way to waste it is something that needs serious questioning to him. Yes, Norwich were penned back and they could just head away any cross put in but even in space with good options he seems to just cock it up.

struggling to put my frustration into words. Yes we were on the wrong end of some dreadful decisions by the ref (so much so that I thought he must have arrived on the Norwich team bus) but also we have no cutting edge. I am tired of us playing good football until we get to the opponents penalty area and then there is sod all. We desperately now need a striker (especially if AC is out for a while) and a right winger - because Lokilo is garbage. If he ever beats a man I will faint in shock! People who have a go at Twine - look at the clown who replaced him. All he does is point his finger towards a player he thinks should receive the ball.

Fail to get quality replacements in and we can forget the play offs. I still say we will finish 10th. Too many games following the same pattern whereby we cannot score goals.

Connolly is good, but I don’t think he’s robust enough. From the 4th minute tonight he was complaining about his toe, attention on the pitch. He can’t help the clattering he took off their keeper. I think we definitely need a Delap clone as cover. Sharp isn’t the solution.

Agree with this. There's no way Billy Sharp was brought in to compete for 70-80 minutes,he can't,we know it,he knows it.

The loss of Delap is huge. He's your big, typical Championship bulldozer with skill and balls...We have no others!!

Ok I’ll qualify this he is an ageing guard who can finish gas hit a good brain but we need speed and mobility and he lacks both , it’s not a criticism it’s a fact . I’m glad he’s here but we need the other skills .

That's not the reason we lost tonight.

Just got in from a Willerby Maccy D's pitstop and most in the party thought we'd played pretty well. Enjoyed an entertaining game overall, despite the scoreline.

But we can't keep saying bad luck when a similar story becomes a pattern.

And it's starting to become a pattern.

Thought we played alright all things considered. We’ve played worse and won. No cutting edge up front though and, without sounding like a broken record, their first goal hammers home my ancient prophecy that if you play with two holding midfield players, one has to be a defensive player.
You know what, I hate to admit it but am coming round to your way of thinking. We need a Roy Keane esq horrible twat who somehow finds us a way to win
