Definitely furious. I come from (and married into) a family that ask every new person the big question.Fair. So furious with those pictures of not ?
“Who do you support?”

I normally take no notice of what you say anyway but thanks for the adviceI see a young team too. But professionals and professionals and standards are standards. I support fully in the ground and vent on here. If that's not allowed then stick me on ignore and your life will be nothing but positivity even when the situation may not warrant it.

The last few weeks in the life of SAFC has been a really interesting insight into the mechanisms of mob mentality. Proper flaming torches and pitchforks stuff.This.
It's just all the ****ing sheep winding each other up.
keep bleatingIt's on the back page of virtually every newspaper this morning and is the main topic of conversation in the online BBC sport fa cup coverage.
Nah, it's nothing though.
Get off your knees man.

About 35 years ago, my eldest daughter asked how would I feel if she brought a black boyfriend home, I said he can be any colour he wants, just as long as he doesnt support the magsDefinitely furious. I come from (and married into) a family that ask every new person the big question.

I'm not sure what the equation is for that but he probably gets extra credit for interrupting his holiday! What about my dad who is fiercely proud of being born and raised in Seaham, then moved away?
He was.that pissed off yesterday when he saw the news he rang from his holiday to have a rant
So whether you're SAFC b/r makes no difference.Ok so I made a poll to see what the thoughts were. Results after 30 mins here. Appreciate it's a smallish sample (66 votes so far) and only across one platform but find it interesting. 86% of total vote furious. Fair point re 12% safc b/r not furious. Obviously results will be swayed by follower dynamic.

Anyway, it's the eve of the derby ffs, fancy directing some of your ire towards the Mags for 24 hours rather than towards SAFC?
The irony man of you telling people to get off their knees when you've spent the last however many years sticking up for and defending the Tories and bending over for them. It's on the back page of virtually every newspaper this morning and is the main topic of conversation in the online BBC sport fa cup coverage.

It’s just how it is.
Alternatively there is a mag on my mams side of the family who blocked me for months when I posted on his Facebook after we beat them last.
Surely "SAFC born and raised" is different to "born and raised within the City/Borough of Sunderland" not sure respondents would have noted the difference. If you're not an SAFC fan (i.e. not "SAFC born and raised") you're not going to be furious at all.So whether you're SAFC b/r makes no difference.

Sorry for the digression mods - hypocrisy winds me up.
I'm from Sunderland, born in Hendon, raised in Red House, still living here after a period on the dark side. I'm much less outraged than you think I should be. Perhaps it's because I no longer recognise the club formerly know as NUFC as a direct rival any longer, just an extension of one the most heinous states on the planet hoping to sportswash themselves into the history books. Perhaps it's because I'd like to know the full detail of what, and why what happened, happened before donning my moral chainmail. I stand by my moral compass an apologise to no-one for my opinions. With respect, I think you owe some posters an apology. Enjoy your day.Honestly, just trying to understand why there seems to be such a disparity in terms of wether you're a Sunderland lad still to this date, or not. Really don't mean to cause offense. Genuinely find it interesting
I’m from Tyneside. I’m a proud Geordie.Cool. That's a view I obviously don't have as I am not one of those individuals. Thanks for the input. Find it interesting TBH mate.
Might have missed it, you say all I think it's actually 1 or 2 that mentioned where they are from. So you think your a more loyal supporter because you were born in the city. To me supporting the club is getting behind the lads home and away, I travel all over the country with loads of lads from Northumberland.Truthfully, is there anyone on here who was born and raised in Sunderland, who was not furious with yday ?
The posts I see, from people, who seem to not be furious, have said they were not raised in Sunderland.
