Klop has won things and that's only 4 games mate.. Howes claim to greatness is getting a club promoted and getting relegated which is a world away from champions leagues and titles.

It seems people are becoming aware that he's created a big mess and when at Bournemouth once it went wrong he was unable to fix things.

I don't think he'll go this season though.
He might go this season if he's unable to pull the club up from it's nosedive after the next few games. Confidence is likely going to be non-existent by the time we play Luton again and that can have a huge effect. If we lose as expected the next two league games and fail to win against Luton, I wouldn't be surprised to be waking up to Howe's out headlines. It would be a shame if they do that and have none better to replace him with.

I said a while back that come February it's going to be about 40 points and then just seeing what the situation is.

This current situation with performances and results is far worse than people realise. The form is absolutely frightening and confidence is in tatters.
And boy are you enjoying trying to stick the knife in. You want him gone but can’t even suggest who would come in. Great planning that would be. And all the while being so close to the team to be able to give us all that insightful insider information.

Because in your words "Howe's claim to greatness is getting a club promoted and getting relegated".

It isn't, Howe's claim to greatness is getting a tiny club like Bournemouth to have 3 promotions in 5 years to get them from league 2 to the top league for the first time in there history, and then establish them there for the next 6 years as a Premier League team. His claim to greatness is being the best Bournemouth manager of all time.
Managing a team of players at that level and the egos is a bit different to the top six in the PL.

We have a situation now where the ego of the players is big.

We have 40/50/60 million pound players.

The form itself right now is the concern. Let’s just get this month out of the way. Hope we beat Sunderland and get some players back from injury.

Only then can we consider things if things don’t improve.

Hughes was sacked after 2 wins in 11 for Man City in 2009 after 18 months in charge.

He was always a dead man walking there - when they money came in he finished 10th and had an awful season despite them having massively more than everyone else. After a summer of more big buys, then clearly wanted a bigger and more successful name.

Difference here than the owners actually selected Howe themselves.

I’m guessing that that’s to do with inflation?

Nothing to do with football players valuations which is the relevant point here.
Yes I see what you’re saying. So yes inflation is taking it to 330m. Then if you factor in players valuations are more than doubled they have spent the equivalent of say £700m ish would you agree.

So on that basis. Aye it’s a lot more than 400m we have spent.

But they when you look at the value of the transfers they made Robinho was the highest at 32m when the world highest transfer was 80.

The average signings were around 15-20m.

They spent an awful lot of money.
