Apart from the fact he's the best fullback at the club.

TBF I think that just highlights how awful the other options are, Coyle is an absolutely fantastic pro, club captain, id definitely keep him in the squad and he's definitely a champ full back, but he's not a week in week out top 6 chasing champ full back.

Fully agree. It's difficult not to like Coyle but we could do a lot better.

Did you actually go to the game tonight or watch on tv? They might not have created “serious chances” but we were far outclassed in every department even before the red card. You don’t half talk some ****e. 0-0 <laugh>. Pains me to say it but they battered us all game and they’re in the bottom 3.

I'm not sure what you think you're arguing with. You've agreed that they didn't create many serious chances and presumably you agree that they did score three goals through good finishing. I didn't say a lot else.

Because you say the same thing every time we lose. They’ve not created anything yet lose. And I was half sarcastic about no serious chances, the amount of times they flashed the ball across the box through there wingers (where you say usually is us missing chances) or chances at the edge of the box where they put it 30 yards over but should easily have got on target. All good finishes yeah but the first was probably a penalty if he didn’t score anyway. Ah well Liam can do no wrong.

Lacklustre and 2nd best all over the park, even before the sending off. Plus their ****housery was far superior to ours....Feigning injury, crying foul. They've learned a lot from their new coach. Whereas we're too soft.
On another issue, I wish those predicting easy City wins would pack it in because it never happens and does my head in. Tar...

PS...Happy New Year. I'm watching 'Deep Water Horizon' right now...Two disasters in one night is too much to bear.
Sorry.
See that's what happens when I go all positive. Never again.

Ah that ****. That explains something.

I think there's been quite a few incidents with him now. He was the one we had for Reading at home last season wasn't he? When Tan was on the pitch confronting him at the end?

I don't even think it was meant to be him today either

I don't think I've very often said that the opposition has scored three beauties against us, although the Ipswich game was similar as I've already said.

Seems like you've logged on ready to argue about Rosenior being **** and are swinging for me on the basis of what I've said previously. It's funny that you say I say the same thing every time I lose, when that's often been my exact point against the identical cliché-laden meltdowns after every defeat.

Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl told BBC Radio Sheffield:

"I think when you look back, when we played 11 against 11 it was a fantastic game, both teams wanted to play forward, both teams had good solutions with the ball.

"But then it's always not easy to play against 10 because it's a different game - they stay a little bit deeper and you need a good counter-press and the big topic at half time was that we needed intensity and energy.

"This was the key and we came with good energy in the second half and were immediately on the front foot and it was fantastic from the team.

"When you look back at the last two weeks I think for everybody it was a hard time, a lot of games, we had a lot of injuries and suspensions but we did well and I'm very proud of my team again. I told them 'dive dive dive and they did!'

Hull City head coach Liam Rosenior told BBC Radio Humberside:

"I'm down. We came into the game with confidence from the Blackburn game and we didn't start the game in our normal way. We made mistakes and I think we were mentally tired, maybe I should have rotated the team.

"It's difficult enough playing four games in 10 days to then try and play 60 minutes with 10 men in this stage of the season is a really tough ask.

"I understand why from the referee's position why he's made that decision. But when you see it from a different angle you understand why that's happened - it looks two-footed and he's gone over the ball from Darren's position on the pitch.

"He hadn't. It's a really soft one and it's something that we're going to look at appealing because for Tyler to lose three games of his season based on that, I think, is quite harsh."

You’ve still not answered my original question, did you go today? If so were you happy with how we played? And yeah, I’m not his biggest fan, I fully believe if we had a more experienced manager we’d be doing a lot better with the players we have at our disposal. How many times are we losing and still passing it around the defence with 2 mins to go? Why take off our two most likely to score today at 2-0 down?

Baffled by decisions by squad, ref & Rosie. To be fair, we were never on it from the get go, but it’s the travelling support I feel for, giving up their hard earned money to support City, only for Rosie to throw in the towel with poor subs & game management, insulting. Even with the red card, which was never a red while we’ve got a hole in our a…, down to 10 men, at nil, nil, we should still have had enough quality, back bone and more about us to give it a good game, but don’t think we gave their keeper much to sweat over, and they put some good goals away. Sadly, not many of ours come out of this covered in glory. Embarrassing, poor decision making from start to finish.

Very frustrating, we’ve just no consistency. Safe journey home to the travelling support.

Agree with every word. Why did he take Delap off? Possibly the most baffling decision of any all season!

As others have said, Allahyar did alright. He does more than Lokilo and Twine for me and should be ahead of them in the future for that LW position.

We're a win off 5th, and only a point off 6th....after 24 games we'd have all taken that at the start of the season. It's clear where we need strengthening and I've got faith in the ownership to address that in January. Could be a hell of a lot worse, last time we played Weds on NY day we finished the day a point off the play offs, then sold our best 2 players and went on the worst run in a generation.....so it could be A LOT worse
