Another great week for us. Plymouth were pretty abject and never good to watch a team sit so deep. I suspected alcaraz might get the chance to put one in the corner and that was a wonderful strike. lovely football. Watched the Leeds game after and I'm surprised by how they have fallen off, their forward line just not looking sharp at all. Enjoying watching us again.

Plymouth looked quick on the counter. If they had been more potent we could have been in trouble.

If we had allowed them to have a bit more possession they had the ammunition to score, especially on the break, but we were far to miserly to let them have it.

Think it is just league games as ran September-December 1921 and the FA Cup 1st round was January (beat South Shields 3-1).

It's a question which I've been wondering the answer to.

If our existing record contains no cup matches because we played no cup matches during that period, then I think it's legitimate to include cup matches. It would mean that our existing record is an all-competition record (despite only including league matches), rather than a league-only record (ie one which ignores cup matches).

Which means Walsall to equal and Sheffield Wednesday to beat? Should we not lose to Norwich of course, which we probably will now.
