Can't believe people actually putting Laurent Robert in their top 5. He was a good player, but a total twat.

That early 2000's era was easily my favourite toon era. I enjoyed it more than Keegan's Entertainers era to be honest (probably because I went to more games!)

He was a key player in our top four campaigns(2001-2002 and 2002-2003).

I wish we had a player of his quality in our current squad!

Calling Robert a twat, and then having... I'm gonna say it, Shearer in your list. He is a cock personally, ****ing epic at football though (hence he's in my list also).

Yeah I can't stand Shearer, especially his "insight" (aka saying the most obvious things he can) on MOTD

Obviously an amazing player.
 
I've met Shearer twice in my life, once when i was too young to remember what he exactly said to me, and once a few years ago, and i got his autograph. He's a really nice bloke, and i don't see why some people thought he was a twat.

He was a tough, insperational, passionate bloke. Toon legend.

I always really liked Steve Watson. Prob my fav player for a good few years. Very underrated in my opinion.

I remember being at Anfield when he chipped David James in the Cola Cola cup in 1995
