It certainly looked like a knock down, but the UK commentary was very partisan toward Taylor so didn't go over it too much.

The scoring was bizarre, but I do think that they got the right result in the end, and while one of them had to win, neither of them lost as such. They can both be incredibly proud of what they gave tonight.

Yeah think the result was right. A trilogy but all 3 fights in Ireland feel for Cameron a bit. She needs to be better in the 3rd fight though.

Great fight. I had it 95-95.

I feel Taylor did enough to win, but I wouldn't have argued against a draw. I haven't seen the stats, but I suspect Taylor had a greater number of punches landed, but Cameron's were stronger punches. Taylor was dictating the pace and style of the fight, which has an influence on the judges too.

I think rightly or wrongly, the judges were influenced by Taylor having a more 'showy' display and the crowd celebrating any perception of success. I think Cameron showing signs of distress and appealing to the ref would also leave them with a view that Taylor's game plan was being more effective than Cameron's.

Two very tough ladies giving it all for a very decent contest in my view.

I thought Taylor nicked it. Being the aggressor in the last part of key rounds helped. Kudos to a great fight, neither fighter taking a backward step for 10 rounds.

Thought I’d pop this in here as it’s boxing related.
My grandson’s friend is an up and coming heavyweight boxer, had his first pro bout recently, won. Think it was frank warren who described him as a future heavyweight champion in the making. I’m thinking of putting a wager on him to win one of the belts at some point in the future. While we were in Spain last year he came to our house for a party, my grandson Harry made me laugh when he said he filled our couch. It’s a bloody big settee mind lol. He recently went down and spared with Joseph Parker as part of his training for the upcoming fight with Deontay Wilder. He’s One to watch for the future….
