Alternative comedian Tony Allen dies aged 78 Tony Allen, a key comedian in the alternative comedy movement, has died of cancer aged 78.
Baroness Glenys Kinnock of Holyhead, a former minister, MEP and wife of ex-Labour leader Lord Kinnock, has died. Tributes have been paid to the 79-year-old, who served as MEP for Wales from 1994 to 2009, who passed away six years after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's. In a statement, her family said the 'cherished mother and adored grandmother', died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday at her London home with her husband at her side.

Hargreaves recently had to step back from work through illness. The last photo posted on his Twitter account came during the New Zealand v South Africa rugby international at Twickenham in late August.
Hollywood actor Ryan O'Neal has died at the age of 82. His son Patrick shared the sad news on social media on Friday afternoon. 'So this is the toughest thing I’ve ever had to say but here we go,' he began. 'My dad passed away peacefully today, with his loving team by his side supporting him and loving him as he would us.'
