That’s not how it’s tracked. If a team makes 5 tackles and 3 result in the tackling team having possession, it’s 60% tackle success. You’re thinking of ‘duels’.

Sorry, Ben, you’re wrong. Tackles are tracked the same way shots are. If you have 5 shots but only 3 are on target, that’s a 60% on-target rate. Same applies to tackle-sucess.

We've needed to move the pace up since August. The problem seems to be that we don't do this until we go behind. We did it against Rotherham and hammered them, but there appears to be a worry that if we do it against anybody half decent we'll get panned (we wouldn't).
