Was watching highlights of the Swansea vs Man U game and noticed on the advertsing hoardings a great question to win some welsh goodies...

"Which english player captained the same club through all 4 divisons?"

I bet they're not after the answer we're thinking of though.

Didn't we have the discussion when Swansea got promoted about how one of their players was going to join Ashbee in having captained the same side in every division?

Garry Monk played for them in all four divisions and did become captain, but he definitely wasn't captain in all four leagues.

Ash's title remains intact.
