Rishi rich & Co. have lost their marbles but won't return those looted from the Greeks. There's also the bawbals that make up part of the crown jewels and more precious artefacts looted from the colonies that should be returned.
British soldiers with objects looted from the Kingdom of Benin's royal palace during the military expedition to Benin City in 1897.

    Naive.
    Many prisoners can change.

Many more prisoners can’t / don’t want to.

Many people wish to take the easier route of stealing, violence & crime instead of being decent members of society. The softer the punishments are the more this will happen.

I notice that the mainstream media are completely silent on - the frankly INCREDIBLE- job that Nayib Bukele has done in El Salvador. He has single handedly turned the country around from one of the most dangerous in the world, to a safe one.

How did he do this? He locked up all the gangs & criminals and used harsh punishments.

It’s not rocket science. Bleeding heart liberals that want us to be kind to criminals don’t realise how much damage they’re doing.

John Smith destroying John Major June 1993 Keir Starmer using the same description today at PMQs "the man with the non-Midas touch", John Smith a great loss to the country.

Labour-run Nottingham county council declares itself bankrupt and has to stop all services (except emergencies)

A good example of what will happen if labour get in to run the rest of the country.

Didn’t they only take over in May? Lots of Tory damage already there.

Lots of councils in the same boat, and quite a few are Tory, but then you knew that. Tory run Hampshire gets a mention here, along with a Labour council.

    https://www.theguardian.com/society...bankruptcy-leaders-warn-as-deficits-reach-4bn

"Last month Tory-controlled Hampshire council said it faced “financial meltdown” and urged the government to step in to fix what it called the “broken” system of local government finance. Havering council in east London, run by Labour and independents, said it faced bankruptcy in the next six to 12 months."

There's dozens more, and they're not failing because of idealogic spending strategies.

Councils of every political persuasion are in serious financial trouble, due to cuts in central government funding coinciding with more responsibilities being foisted on local councils. This is George Osbourne’s austerity program coming home to roost.

Who would have thought Os’s assertion of Labour incompetence would - yet again - lead us to a very different truth…

Stop being so silly. Just think for once before you write such nonsense. Many Tory run council's are in exactly the same position.

Do you think Sunak watched this, before cancelling his meeting with the Greek leader?

Yep, I am far from one of the left wingers on here (wingers or whingers?), and even I agree that it is total nonsense.

Unfortunately, we are told not to believe the narrative of the 'press', but some people do just that....

    So much nonsense

    El Salvador?
Very different to us and not that simple …
You’d be happy with the human rights abuses and arrests of innocents would you?
    Govt figures are being questioned
Gangs are still there and waiting

He’s doing an astonishing job. Homicide rate down 60%, other crime rates cut dramatically. Reinvigorated their entire economy.
Highest approval rating in their history

You won’t hear it anywhere in the western media though, as his success doesn’t fit the globalist agenda

    Well...that's not quite true.

He does get quite a lot of coverage. In reality though, El Salvador isn't really a "must read" thing for Western audiences, which dictates how much the media will cover something, for reasons previously explained regarding the advertising model that they have to use to survive. Nothing to do with a globalist agenda.

The Telegraph: “BBC Radio 5 Live presenter Nihal Arthanayake has said an overwhelmingly “white” working environment is affecting his mental health

He says he struggles with too many white colleagues”

How is that not racist? Replace the word white with any other race and there would be outrage

It is - based on the actual definition of racism. But not based on the revised one come up with by grifters / professional victims where power dynamics apparently have to be involved as well

It is how you end up with left wing news shows falling over themselves to find a race based motive for a white shooter in the US but watching a clip of a black man sucker punching an old Asian lady and:
    1. Not mentioning his race
    2. Trying to shift the blame onto the white security guards across the street

This was the TYT network so I guess you get what you get.

This was in the telegraph though - does the rest of the article not go on to make that point?

I assume the large drop in funding is what pushed councils to make risky investment decisions. My hometown council that is (and always has been) Tory run is effectively bankrupts because of massive losses on two property investments. I guess it’s not “real” money but it wipes out their reserves. Local government accounts are extremely bizarre anyway
